Oh man feels great to be watching your videos again! Remember those days when I used to watch those separate parity videos over and over again to perfect my moves.
Thank you. By mistake my first cube was a 4×4 instead of 3×3 and had absolute ZERO knowledge about the most basic solving. Your 4×4 guide was THE most helpfull (the one I found most natural for me). Still took some time but never thought of giving up. Become some cubes after that (I know Megaminx and so on is not a cube but I call all these type of puzzles cubes). Square 1 messed with my brain completly in ways more than any other (Even the Ghost cube and that Egg nightmare) so only one left to learn of those I have.
That's awesome man, thanks so much for watching and I'm glad my videos have helped you. The Megaminx is another tutorial I have planned on doing, I have everything ready for it, just need to film it - which takes a lot of effort haha... I just want my tutorials to be the best they can to help people understand what they're doing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😂 I was just about ready to hurl my 4x4 cube at the wall. I got down to the last row mostly by myself but somehow had nearly every parity. Mission accomplished thanks to your vid. Youre a legend!
Obrigado por postar esse vídeo. É o único video que explica detalhadamente os passos a serem dados para a resolução do cubo mágico 4x4. PARABÉNS !!! Que o SENHOR DEUS o abençoe grandemente.
TQ noah, i m new to 4x4, i always stucked at case 6(last two edges) and then OLL parity, thanks for your tutorial because you file the into case 1 to 6 with the algo, i can see the case im looking for directly in the thumbnail that is so sweet, good job
This is very helpful it will definitely take some time for me to work this without looking at all my notes I can't help but notice you went prime more on your last to algorithms #3 , #4 when the algorithm didn't call for it 😅 but it still worked itself out I may need to change my notes
Your video tutorials have been very helpful. What algorithm would you use if you have 3 corner pieces? And everything is solved question. What would you do if you had 4 corners unsolved? But all the edge pieces matched up, and everything else was solved. What algorithm with you then? By the way, thanks again for your help.!😀
I had the same problem, 1 edge in the right position and orientation, 1 edge in the right position but not orientation and 2 edges not in the right position and orientation (the trouble edges). Use the 'Claus' algorithm repeatedly to position the two trouble edges opposite each other, then do case#4 PLL as shown in the video. After all that twisting, all edges will be in their correct positions (in my case I had to finish with a series of 'righty' algorithms to finally orient the pieces)
Given there are apparently 22 combos of parity problems, frankly I find it easier to just try a resolve if I get jammed at the end aka mix it up and solve centers (easy), solve bottom, (easy), solve remaining edges (easy) and then just hope you get lucky when you solve as a 3x3
if you recognice that you have oll parity before orienting the rest then in theory you could just learn one of the oll algs (probably the second case) then you should be able to solve no problem for pll edge parity you only really need the first alg as you can just set up the second case so that they are opposite then just undo the set up moves this way you cut the number of algs to learn inhalf and I believe the corner parity cases can be easily avoived with normal algs and edge parity
I seem to have an issue that no one else has. My 4x4 white corner pieces are twisted the wrong way, which means that the orange side is facing the blue centre and vice versa. This applies to every piexe, and I havent tampered with the corners at all. How do I fix this issue?
What do you do, Noah, when you have 3 orange pieces in the green side and 3 orange pieces in the side? I also have a yellow/green/orange corner piece on the blu side. I have a yellow/ orange /blue corner piece bordering orange and green sides? What algorithm would you recommend ?
Idk how to get but the idea is when you got 6 or 7 edges solved you gonna have to do the algorithm for solving that last 2 or 1 edges when you got eight edges basically do the same thing
I don’t use CFOP for a 3 by 3. I use the beginner method and when I get to a parity it not the same as yours. Is it because I don’t know CFOP? if that the case do I need to learn CFOP
You'll most likely just need to solve the parities the same way - If you want to join my Discord and post a photo or questions in my 4x4 channel, I can help you there discord.gg/beWbCwDf
Yeah, the bottom layer or the down layer is pretty confusing about counterclockwise or clockwise… If you tilt the cube up to where the bottom is facing you, that’s how you tell on which direction it is… If that doesn’t make sense, you could join discord and I can show you a quick video
I got an ad in the middle of the algortithm so i have to reset the whole cube now💀💀
