George, thanks so much for the kind words. I am so glad you really enjoy the elelectrician's knife, I look forward to seeing the sheath you dream up and make. It was not my father's, it came from my own collection. With the Victorinox you shared, you can send it to them in Maryland and have them do a refresh on it. I recently sent in a 70's era SAK, they replaced the scales, lubed, cleaned and sharpened it all for $5.00. If there is a downside, they are slower than molasses in Minnesota in February, although their communication is very good with a phone call to go over the details before work begins. Mike
Hey. Love that Electricians knife. A thing if beauty. I have 3 SAKs to send em...well maybe. But one will definitely go. Be safe my friend. A good time was had
George, your excitement is infectious. I love your videos and this one was so awesome. You made a great haul between gifts from family and your flea market purchases. Congratulations!!
Welcome back - we missed you, but are thrilled you had such a great time! My hubby Gus is drooling over all of your treasures that you obtained at the flea market. As usual, thanks for sharing! 🔪 He usually gets his treasures at the Wells gun show in March. (Wells Sportsmans Show) 🌞
I think you did fantastic! That’s a lot of great knives for a great price.I’m very happy for you.😊👍 I can’t wait to see the clean up and progress on them.
Fabulous haul! The Victorinox is a Pioneer Alox. The ‘99’ indicates it was made in 1999. They still make ‘em…and you’re right - it’s modeled off the soldier’s knife. I’ve got an 02 and really love it. It’s got the best damn can opener on any knife I own.
Quite the haul you've got there, George! Glad you had such a good time with your youngest at the swap meet. Looks like you've got your work cut out for you now!
George, you did get a great haul of knives. Yup, the fun is in the hunt. I found a Kutmaster electricians under the floor when I did a remodel years back; it had one wood scale intact. Interesting what you can find. You picked well from the choices you had. Thanks for sharing. I spent some time in S.D. during my Navy years; a beautiful place. Thanks for the vacation video too. Rog
Yep. Scored, did not think I would find anything..lol. I am not good at this. Had a great visit with the family. Thanks again for watching. I appreciate it. Be safe
Wow what a haul you will ave plenty of projects for a while. Some of those knives are special. Thank you again for the bow trapper the blades took a keen edge it did well on my camping trip. I watched your vacation video again I want to go back and visit Cali but I don't know why lololo. Well done George !.
George, The old SAK is a Fisherman check out the end of the Philips screwdriver it has a slot opening Spam and other canned meat cans. You can clean the slot with a piece of paper. Some of the old square-sided Philips screwdrivers had a file on one of the sides.
The red SAK with a bail look on the end of the Philips screwdriver has a thin cut on the end that can be used as a key to open old-style canned meat cans.
I looked but did nit see it. Need to look closer. I'll be doing a vid on these Saks. Probably sending into Victorinox but need to talk to them first. Thanks for the heads up. Be safe
Good score, lots of good stuff, I found a fixed blade Buck in a pawn shop with the original sheath it's a hunting knife with about a 5" blade he let me have it for $25, I could not pay him fast enough, you did not pay too much George just the time with your family worth more than that cost
I have been looking for a Buck 103 but haven't found one I can afford yet. $25 that was a good price. I would have bought it. Nice knife haul. Have a great day
I have a Kutmaster Girl Scout knife. My Dad found it in the yard around 1980 and carried it for years. I recently cleaned it up. The scales and badge are different than yours.
@2ndchancegeorge Thanks for the info about the scales and badges. I've been trying to determine the age by the tang stamp, which gave some, but not enough info.
Lol..it thing we say when you start looking at something you see and before you know you are lost in it. Becomes a trap you cannot get out of. Like going down a rabbit hole and getting lost in the tunnel.
Allo Goerge very good video you touch jackpot All important. NEVER SELL the BUCK 103 is TANG is inverted(reverse) it's made before 1972 it's very very collectable.Still Keep the CHANCE.Thank you.
Nice score in Socal George 👍👍👍. Is Merry the cat cross with you after being gone on your trip? Our female gets as vindictive as an ex wife when we go on a trip😂. Hope you enjoy your day tomorrow. Take care. 🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪
Hey George I looked down the rabbit hole and just saw the top of your head you ain't getting out of there with out help lol, you picked up some nice S&S and made work for your self, look forward to the results how do you decide which to do first? 😁

Really nice knife haul George! You did really well for $100, lots of sharp and shinies! I am going to get some pictures together to show you what I have found lately but just have to tell you about one in particular. George I found a vintage Cattaraugus swell end 2 blade pocketknife that I am super excited about and will send pics of it and a bunch of other knives as well fairly soon. Nice having you back and glad you enjoyed your time with your family!
I do just Love the Buck 103 style knives, but just as you stated the one I liked the most was the Girl Scout knife. You do know that these will be very collectible for they will not be called Girl Scouts anymore??? Some modern policy gender Vigilantes? Ha! have driven these innocent girls to be one with the boys camps. You know equal rights? Now they will be called something like Scouts of America? Actually makes no sense to me, for I see the original to be a good thing, and joining them to be a scam of the girl scouts achievements. What you going to do!!! Have a great week sir.
