It's bonkers how winning coaches are fired if they have one mediocre season. You have 32 teams; a handful only ever make the playoffs, and even fewer win playoff games. Even the most outstanding coaches like Belichick and Walsh had losing or mediocre seasons, but had they been fired after one, those teams wouldn't have won SBs. It's like these teams think coaches like that are easy to obtain. We have so many examples of teams changing coaches every year or two, and it just becomes a loss decade of losing.
