Thank you guys for your honest interpretation of sweets and treats, and also love your crumble hauls.
Thank you so much!
The long awaited from earlier this week! Appreciate the lengthy review, you definitely gave them a fair shot!
We did! It’s hard to compete with our favorite bakery in Lexington.
It was so pretty inside. Thank you for sharing that with us. They all looked very good but... I'm always looking for the sweetest as possible. Fun review 🙂
You are so welcome!
wooow these look amazing nice cookies and treats 😋
Y’all match! 🥰 Was it intentional? I’ve never had a zebra cake… is there usually an almond extract flavor? Neat that they do tea parties but you can also buy bakery items for take out! I haven’t purchased baked goods from anywhere aside from the grocery store recently so I’m not sure what to think of the prices? They seem fairly reasonable? Glad they made it through the pandemic - it’s always nice to see small businesses succeed! 😊
We did not match on purpose 😄
I loved the inside of Olive’s Apron. Yes we like teeth hurting sweet! 😂 The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is one I would like to try. Thanks for the review.
They have a cute shop.
Sounds good
All for supporting local businesses. For me this comes down to cost and convenience. This place might be good for every day purchase but maybe not for the special occasions. Thanks for the review.
There’s another family owned small business in Lexington that is better.
Odd decor lol Giving me dollhouse vibes but nice looking! All the sweets look great tho! You know what I am going for first xD
I believe they do a lot of afternoon tea parties.
I was thinking the same thing 😂 and Tami’s music choice added to it 😅 It does look fitting for a tea party though!
@@emilyhellwig213 😂 I know right. I was totally singing "This is Halloween" or "Oompa Loompa" in my head.... for some reason 😂😂
I love seeing local places... It really is a cute and comfy-looking place!
I prefer my desserts less sweet, so the lack of sweetness here would be something I'd appreciate. I think if I were to choose one out of the bunch, I'd also pick the fudge brownie, but for me the only brownies worth eating are ones with ultra-crispy edges... (Or to be completely honest, just the edges 🤣)
And I agree, chocolate chip cookies are always better with sea salt on top! 😉
Maybe they're not "American sweet" because they're meant to be eaten with tea like in the UK. I do prefer sweet like you guys. But sounds like they're good quality with good texture. Thanks for the review!
Exactly; if I’m eating a dessert, I prefer something sweet 😃
I love your choice of assortment of goodies from the bakery.
They all sound great and some a bit different from other bakeries but I would love to plate these for family n guest.
Thanks a million for a terrific review. I enjoyed it.
Have a sunny n delightful day.
Thank you 🌸
This happened when we went to a local bakery in my area. The buttercream had that slick texture and wasn’t very sweet. I looked at their website and saw they used French buttercream for all their baked goods. I definitely prefer traditional American style buttercream!
It’s definitely not as sweet.
The location is so cute.
I agree, they did a nice job with the decor.
Wow I wonder where the sugar content is? Yes I want that sweet sweet buttercream! I think the shop was really cute but if I was local I’d bypass it. Great review to watch!
There’s another bakery in the same town that is top notch on sweetness, flavor, texture, freshness - everything 😉
Yes I know your bakery is Mondellis…lol@@TamiDunn
1:54 🤣.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Do you guys often have a lot of cake, cookie, and other snacks left over, that you share with family members or neighbors? It seems like you would, since you do so many reviews.
They have family/friends that they share stuff with 😊
They’ve answered this so many times… they share with many people and take to work etc… but I wondered that too… 😊😊😊
I was born and raised in Bristol Tennessee but I have been living in ky for 10 years don't know much about Lexington
We enjoy the variety of shopping and restaurants that Lexington offers.
From the pictures all the desserts look a bit dry and doughy.
I prefer the soft, ooey gooey kinds.
It’s definitely a cute, quaint little business though.
Yes, they were all on the dry side unfortunately.
why are you saying scone like that?
I played a clip when we showed the items up close. We are saying it the proper way 😃
