Actually Indian brands have come up well now. First time all of us were amazed to see comfort of Nike and Adidas. But now in budget segment ( < 2K) it makes more sense to go with desi brands like Campus, Sparx, Power or Action. They are equally good and at times even better at the same price.

Puma gives lots of variety under 5k, other companies sold just plain or normal designs shoes at this price.
Reebok earlier belongs to adidas groups. Dono ka sales figure ek sath count karo.
Nike and Adidas are my favourite brands but nowadays both go beyond range...A good pair of their shoes minimum cost 12K so I moved on to Skechers...
you should check the difference between the import duty Nike (an American) brand has to pay to the Indian gov. and how much European union country brands have to pay after Brexit Adidas (a UK brand) faces the same problem. Duty of the foreign brand has increased in 2017 for these brands

I’m into hardcore workout like weight trainings, powerlifting. Any day, I’ll choose Nike over any other brands specially their flagship cross training product “Metcon” and also their running shoes. Reebok is best when it comes to weightlifting shoes “Cross Trainer” better than Nike Romaleous. Adidas isn’t that good when it comes to training shoes, yes their running shoes are good. Under Armour is another brand which has decent running & training shoes. Puma & Sketchers are not even a competition when we talk about best of training & running shoes, both are pretty much crap. Yes a good pair of Nike, Reebok & Adidas will cost more but it’s much better in quality than what Puma and Sketchers can provide. Ask any athlete or the one who takes his training seriously.
Really Adidas? I'm wearing Adidas from 4 years(2 shoes) but after purchase I realized designing faults in their shoes. Next time will try other brand.
If i do not go into this much technicality, according to my day to day usage of all these brands, Adidas are more durable and long lasting.
Sketchers and Puma last not more than 1 year. Their soles get damaged and become flat and slippery.
I have many adidas pairs and 2 pairs are more than 3-4 years old and they are still in quite a better condition.

puma is smart, their only one strategy has hit the bulls eyes which is the product in various price range, it makes it budget friendly yet trendy. even college students can afford a pair T's or shoes from their pocket money. wherein Nike & Adidas they hiking the price unreasonably. Reebok is totally a diff case. Reebok still you can afford but the problem lies with them is they dont provide wide range of option. But as I said Puma has wide range of prices plus the variety and options also. I am still surprise why Puma or even Nike and other brands for that matter, how come they didnt hit the swimming kit market so far. only speedo, arena etc are ruling there. there is huge opportunity to crack.
