I was so excited when 18 came out I dl from PlayStation store as soon as it was available. It was ok I played a season and then soon forgot about it. When 19 came out I was little hesitant but dl it this time from steam to PC. I absolutely love it I can't stop playing, sure it has a few flaws but it's big step in the right direction.
albert oriol AI still. Neural AI was a great intro. I like that riders finally avoid you when you overtake down the inside line. But its still inconsistent, sometimes they’ll still run straight to you. And they often slow down massively whenever you overtake them. Moto2 AI is the worst. I started a career with a stock MV Agusta and i immediately finished 4th within a second from the leader. Did an experiment too, doing an entire race on a dead front tyre. Still managed 2nd place finish half a second off the leader. If i rode a Kalex i’d have dominated that race on the dead front tyre
Where’s the crowd noise/ambience, smoke etc to add to the atmosphere?! MotoGP 18 had this so why have they removed it from 19. Hope they update this in their next patch.. Atm it feels like you’re just doing winter testing every race !
Game is simply fantastic. Challanging and the onboard experience is just great. There are some bugs like Antiwheelie is always on, the ECU settings are not saving, missing manual tuck in or there are missing brake markers on some tracks. But the game is big step forward comparing to previous titles.
rain track looks much more realistic now, its not just a layer of water, tarmac looks better as well. but i think they should have kept the smoke at certain tracks, especially mugello
Great video Robo! Love what they have done with the game, bikes really feel alive like never before, a lot of things add up: tweaked physics, graphics, animations, sound, some aspects more than others. One thing they got super wrong though is the gearbox, they got it right in 18 with seamless shifts as it should be, 19's gearbox seems slower than a streetbike with quickshift. I did a mod for 17 before the switch to unreal engine and I know it's a super easy fix, they MUST patch this for the bikes to feel as they should. Don't you agree Robo?
despite having EVERY MotoGP game since the first, I couldn't get into 18 much, but I liked 17. I'm liking the graphics, sounds and feel of 19 though. They're starting to get like Star Trek films... where every other one isn't as good?
The bikes were on rails in 18, after 1 day of playing 19 it's already obvious that it's more like if you were actually riding a motorbike. To me that's a great thing, some may not like it.
I like it. I had seen some gameplay of 18 before but never took too much interest in it cause it wasn't realistic. After watching robo and other people play 19 I really want to get it and play through it
Off Grid Madman yeah that's my fav part of this game is the riders and movements actually look real and not stiff like a statue all the time. I never even bought 18 cause it seemed like a downgrade with a lot compared to how good 17 was. But bought 19 day one and haven't stopped playin it.
@@wrxhex I never had 17, heard good things about it. I love how in this new one that you can't brake or change down a gear when too tipped over, just like real life. And the brakes seem crap, they're just more like how they would be. There's lot of nice little touches like this. I only play at 75% but I'm loving it.
You can get rid of the damn ghost in 19 in the pits but you have to do it for every track every time, i.e. it's NOT the default. On the PC push "R" for "Hide Ghost". Shit it's SO DISTRACTING. Like I really NEED a reminder that I'm not improving with EVERY LAP.
When I bought the 2019 game back in July, I was really excited, until I played. The third-person view felt really weird. I knew it had to do something with the camera movement but I didn’t what until now watching this side-by-side comparison. From the 2016-2018 games, the camera seems to be in a fixed position, the perspective doesn’t change, making it easier to spot braking points, turning points, and acceleration points. The 2019 game made it confusing. The game seems to have this sort of dynamic camera that moves in/out for braking/accelerating, and up/down when leaning into corners (maybe also left/right when turning). That confuses my brain and it screws up my perspective. It’s difficult to know how much I’m braking when going into a corner, or how much I’m accelerating when I exit. I’ve tried looking everywhere in-game to see if I could adjust the dynamics of the camera and turn it off completely but it seems like it can’t be done. I want to love the game, but when the camera does that and messes with my mind, I can’t. I much prefer the fixed camera in the previous games over the 2019-2020 ones. It’s a shame they had to change it.
Hi Robo, what do you think of the atmosphere around the tracks compared to motogp 18? It looks a bit empty to me. Would like it if you could here the fans better and seeing more movement. Great video btw👌.
19 looks a lot better but last year 18 looked really shitty at the start on the regular Xbox One so I might wait till the new Xbox. Anyways, keep up the good content.
So manu improvements. But i really mis a good quick shiter sound on 19’ . Everything is so much better. But the shifting to the gears sounds just to slow. You know that fast shiting sound on corners. I thing 19’ would be perfect with an update for the quick shifting sounds
I got 19, played it for a while, was fun but later deleted it bcos it didn't have manual tucking and as a result it was difficult to ride the bike into corners
This year's version has been a disappointment to me. The sounds have severely regressed. And the bikes do appear to be slower, as someone else in here has pointed out. Still gonna play it, but 18 was a better showing.
The Englafornian As someone who hasn’t played a MotoGP game since MotoGP 11 (I think), I was genuinely impressed by how they sound, especially the Suzuki
Basically everyone who's made videos about it have commented that the performance is down to the new physics, you have to brake a lot earlier just like in real life, which means your times get slower. Compared to real times though they're supposedly alright.
Actually MotoGP 19 just feels more natural and good looking unlike MotoGP 18
Motogp 18 : seamless gearbox
Motogp 19 : standard gearbox
Need a patch
One of the things I liked more in MotoGP 18 was the sound of the Moto2 bikes. They sounded so gorgeously powerful.
They have a different engine supplier this year though

Exactly the same

GOULDMXMEDIA right!? Thats exactly what is missing. Dead crowd every second
Having a great time with MotoGP 19

I was waiting for this comparison, thanks 😉

The smoke is now illegal at mugello(witch the Italians ignore) so the devs were told to take it out.

What smoke? The yellow smoke at the starting grid where the crowds are?

Yeah it does seem a bit too slow
My biggest issue too.

whats your predict between 17 and 18?
I'm glad they fixed the graphics. MotoGP 18 looked extremely ark
I was just think 18 looked better but I think the player needs to turn down the brightness. Oh man, 19 SO bright.

I have nearly all the Moto GP games, 19 is still the best motorcycle game I have played to date. I have Ride 3 & 4 too.
Yeah I’d like more realistic crowd noise, but is it me or are these bikes slower compared to 2018?
Sine MotoGP 18 moves like a arcade, you are able to be faster
Elisha Rankine idk maybe it’s because of the sensitivity or the new engine supplier in 2019

I still prefer 18 Hud.
Motogp 19 was good anyway

19 has better graphics but 18 has better sound
just one word can describe it all

Same, but i think it just about adapting from 18 to 19, i think 19 is more natural and real than 18
Really, is it worth it?
I like gp19 but 20 is weird, it's harder to control the rear seems sliding!
It sounds as though the bikes from the newer game sound a bit worse than the prev game, or is it just me?
Yeah, just you.
@@bymafia2606 now I feel like a massive twat.
What about the A.I.?
really good. those things will not leave you in peace. you can also adjust difficulty on a percentage (%) slider, so it can really fit you well
19 looks and sounds better! Don’t get me wrong 18 is great but the motorcycles sound like vibrators and the graphics aren’t the best.
ANT POST?
Will I be able to change from kmh to mph?
yes. I have done so in my game. It is one of the options where you can change 'meters' to 'miles'.
