      Thanks for your comment, Deputy Sheriff Randy Lish S.L.C. after years of investigating (his own time and money) confirmed that Red Lopez was the same Rafael Lopez that did the killings in Utah. Wikipedia: Hamer opened fire with his .35 caliber Remington Model 8. His first bullet struck Lopez in the chest he died instantly.
