Great review. I am one of those who had major elbow pain from the ezone v7 98 although I liked the way it played. I think this one plays more stable and less hollow / harsh feeling. I wouldn’t call it very flexible but it feels comfortable to me. A good comparison would be the change in feel from the aero vs to the aero 98. Similar improvement. I was impressed with the control, stability and quick maneuverability of the frame. The sweet spot also felt very large to me. I was really impressed and thought it played a lot more consistent and better than the gravity 98 (at least for my game).
I have the 2022 edition, and had to customize it putting some weight on the head to release the power it suppose to have. Oddly enough, it's more a control raquet than Yonnex sells to us.
With the 7th edition, I found to get feel you have to use natural gut, pre stretched at 50lbs as the main strings and use a poly like Luxilon 4G on the cross at 48 lbs and use a rubber band no dampener. The serve is crazy good once on this racquet, definitely one of the top three racquets for serve.
I'm really not sure which to buy. I can get a 2024 Ezone 98 Aqua Night (black) on discount, or I can wait until January for this new verson which is likely to be more expensive. I like plush racquets and don't want something that's an arm wrecker but neither do I want something very muted or too soft where you can't feel the ball. I prefer the black over blue colour ideally, but that's a minor consideration. I like the Wilson Shift (though its stiffness bothers me slightly), but hate the Wilson Clash. Which generation of Ezone do you think I should get?
How does this compare to the v9 Blade 100 and 98? I have a OHBH and looking for a comfortable racquet because of arm and shoulder issues. I've tested the blade but feel outside of the sweet spot the ball dies and sometimes jarring. I love the control of the 98 but it seems to lack power. While the 100 has slightly more power but looses a lot of control. Thank you for any input you can send. Have a great day!
yeah, sometimes if flies when I hit too flat or when I have to deal with fast volley but after getting used to it I have zero problems controlling it." It's so much easier to learn how to control loose tension than learning how to generate huge power and spin at 22+ kg
As a beginner, I appreciated your playing footage. It ley me observe your strokes. Great review.
Thanks!
Always look forward to your videos man - great review as always!
I appreciate that!

That 100 looks great with the blue strings👌👌
I think so too!
Thank you for your very honest review. Any idea what the RA is and if its still comfortable to play with afer a couple of hours?
I don’t know the stiffness number, but it’s comfortable for me and more comfy than 2022 version
@tantennis sounds good, thank you!!
The most honest review so far. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!

If you want something plush and not muted then Gravity 98 is the answer. No Ezone 98 has both attributes lol.

Nice! Yonex Thailand good job! Tan is here to say the truth :)
Thanks! 😃
Great detailed review as usual! How would you compare this to boom pro 2024 and vcore 98? What will be your pick?
how does it compare to gravity tour 2025?
Thoughts on new ezone 98 compared to gravity 98?
Ezone has bigger sweetspot, more power, more spin but less stability. Gravity 98 should be faster and whippier.
So ezone 98 is more user friendly.
PH tennis did a comparison video on this, its fairly good !
Can u pls share which tracker is best for eastern grip thx!

is this 2025 version as comfortable as a blade 98?
I think Blade is softer. But on this Ezone 2025 you don’t have to put so much effort like Blade so that could be a plus.
Which one would you recommend between 2022 or 2025?
2022 version
If you have quite sensitive arms, go with 2025. In other case, I prefer 2022.
New ezone just seems to be not my cup of tea… Are you still rocking Yonex Percept 100D? Im wondering to switch to i it from my blade 98 16x19 v8…
Yes I am. Also playing with Speed MP a lot these days.
@ The latest speed mp?
@@adrians9593 yes the 2024 Speed MP
Ez98 vs Vc95 which one has better spin?
Vcore 95 lol I used to have one
How about the ezone 100?
Upcoming
Thanks, look fwd to your review, want to know if you think it is stiffer and harder on the elbow than the old version
Already subscribed! 🎉 Can't help u here 😅
Hahahaha thanks!
been waiting for this
46/44 lbs is low?
I play 18kg in my Pure Aero 2023 and Tempo 298 :D
Some people will say it’s too low that’s why you can’t control it. Lol

Ezone 98 2022 is one of the worst racquets for spin in my opinion 😵💫🥶 You need to try Prince racquets with 16x18. Then you will understand easy spin.
What?? you just have crap technique and probably the wrong string set up as well
@CH-yp5by ezone encourages flat hitting.
