I just watched the game grumps panel from another user who put it out, and that one had about twice as many views as this one. It just really depends on where you're looking...
While Jon seems to be trying to put on a good face, he really seems to be spacing out, and not feeling the environment anymore. It just seems like he's almost forcing himself to do this whole presentation. I hope it's just me, but I don't think he'll be "JonTron" for much longer at this rate. This is one reason I like Jon: He acknowledges he was on Game Grumps. He doesn't sound ashamed of the work he did, and recognizes he still has Grump fans.

It's amazing to see how packed that place is! I actually kinda worry for Jon sometimes when he's trying to answer questions, but you can hear a bit of timidness at the grandiose of the event. I just hope he's ok! Real talk: after the events this week with JewWario passing away, we all kinda need to step back and remember that even our idols are human. They will disappoint you, not meetup to your expectations, or even seem not the same person you've envisioned in your head, but just remember that everyone has issues and demons they need to work though. Some have it worse then others, but becoming popular with thousands of people is too much to take sometimes. (And it only gets worse as the numbers keep going up and up). I'm happy with the talk that Jon gave, but I hope he gets a break as well to just live without the fear of having to be swamped by a mob of excited fans.

From all the official stuff I've seen online I can only say Jontron left because he simply didn't want to do Grumps anymore, partially because he didn't like the fanbase psychoanalysing him and wanted to try new things. If he and Arin did get into a fight, they kept it private, but somehow I doubt there was any resentment.
LEG0B0Y seems to have it right, the analysis and somewhat idolization seemed to be too much. Arin's used to it as Egoraptor but it was new for Jon who was new to it. Still though, I believe there's a lot of bad blood between the two.
YunGest Yeah it's not because of that. Arin is very unconfortable talking about it and Jon doesn't really care, but always lets show it's just not happening for reasons he can't say.
Hunter Berger Well, the only evidence I've heard of bad blood between them is hear-say and speculation, so I'm not sure it can be trusted. Not saying there wasn't any bad blood, but there's not much evidence to believe it other than Arin's inexplicable avoidance of referencing Jon on Grumps (and even that might just be me reading too much into it, which was one of the reasons Jon left in the first place).
Ended with the best possible question. Jon always said that Jontron started because he just "did it", an it's a message that potential content creators really need.
I feel bad for Jon. People constantly bug him to get back on Game Grumps for an episode. But Jon left on his own accord, and he wants to keep distance from that. People should respect that. Ever since Jon left Game Grumps I haven't really been actively watching his newest stuff. After watching the panel I forgot how much I really enjoy JonTron as a personality.
What kills me is how Game Grumps acts like they went through a messy divorce and one of them did something HORRIBLE and they just wont say so everyones always talking about it yet theyll never say what really went down so its always the elephant in the room.
They didnt. Apparently him and arin are totally fine and this was something that had been in the works for a couple months. They just timed and executed it horribly.
Nothing negative fucking happened. I'm sick and tired of hearing all these conspiracy theories behind why Jon left. He wasn't forced to leave, he left of his own accord because he wanted to concentrate on his own shit and couldn't because GG is a full time job. They played 8 hours a day 5 days a week, dude. A weekend isn't enough time for Jon to write a script for one of his types of videos. He didn't put anything out during the whole year on GameGrumps. There is NOTHING terrible behind his departure from the show. There's even a goddamn live action skit they did about a T-Shirt and if you look in the background, there is a calender and if you fullscreen it and put it in HD, you will see "Jon Leaves" on one of the dates. It was planned ahead of time and there was no conspiracy. No one is acting like something terrible happened except the idiots that are mad that they won't mention Jon. They don't mention ANYTHING about the past GG and they only keep active shit up-to-date and talked about to stay fresh and new. Danny is a different person, and thus so is the show.
He never sat down the entire hour. Not once. From a guy who gets shaky having to present something in front of a handful of people that's a clear sign that the guy was nervous as fuk. I have to commend his effort in an audience like that. But you don't have to watch the whole thing to see he was struggling.

He moved to NY with his girlfriend from what I know, he still friends with everyone at GG, the reason he doesn't want to bring up GG because it will take up the entire time slot and would start 1 or 2 fights in the crowed.
Jon seems to still care about his time on Grumps; but the Grumps haven't mentioned him ONCE since June. I understand they don't want to talk about the past, but come on man you can't ignore how the show started.
I can see that Jon is SO FOCUSED on seperating himself from gamegrumps and growing something of his own he refuses to be any part of it just so it doesnt fuck up the direction of him and game grumps and brings back any memories for fans to constantly bombard on comments on Jons channel or Game grumps channel. So that is totally understandable and a necessary step in making something of your own!

It's amazing to see how packed that place is! I actually kinda worry for Jon sometimes when he's trying to answer questions, but you can hear a bit of timidness at the grandiose of the event. I just hope he's ok!
Real talk: after the events this week with JewWario passing away, we all kinda need to step back and remember that even our idols are human. They will disappoint you, not meetup to your expectations, or even seem not the same person you've envisioned in your head, but just remember that everyone has issues and demons they need to work though. Some have it worse then others, but becoming popular with thousands of people is too much to take sometimes. (And it only gets worse as the numbers keep going up and up). I'm happy with the talk that Jon gave, but I hope he gets a break as well to just live without the fear of having to be swamped by a mob of excited fans.

From all the official stuff I've seen online I can only say Jontron left because he simply didn't want to do Grumps anymore, partially because he didn't like the fanbase psychoanalysing him and wanted to try new things. If he and Arin did get into a fight, they kept it private, but somehow I doubt there was any resentment.
LEG0B0Y seems to have it right, the analysis and somewhat idolization seemed to be too much. Arin's used to it as Egoraptor but it was new for Jon who was new to it. Still though, I believe there's a lot of bad blood between the two.

Hunter Berger Well, the only evidence I've heard of bad blood between them is hear-say and speculation, so I'm not sure it can be trusted. Not saying there wasn't any bad blood, but there's not much evidence to believe it other than Arin's inexplicable avoidance of referencing Jon on Grumps (and even that might just be me reading too much into it, which was one of the reasons Jon left in the first place).
Ended with the best possible question. Jon always said that Jontron started because he just "did it", an it's a message that potential content creators really need.

I feel bad for Jon. People constantly bug him to get back on Game Grumps for an episode. But Jon left on his own accord, and he wants to keep distance from that. People should respect that. I missed him, but Danny is a great fucking guy. As Jon said to Arin once, "Nothing lasts forever..." (Mario Party, Part 5, Game Grumps).

Ever since Jon left Game Grumps I haven't really been actively watching his newest stuff. After watching the panel I forgot how much I really enjoy JonTron as a personality.
What kills me is how Game Grumps acts like they went through a messy divorce and one of them did something HORRIBLE and they just wont say so everyones always talking about it yet theyll never say what really went down so its always the elephant in the room.
They didnt. Apparently him and arin are totally fine and this was something that had been in the works for a couple months. They just timed and executed it horribly.
Nothing negative fucking happened. I'm sick and tired of hearing all these conspiracy theories behind why Jon left. He wasn't forced to leave, he left of his own accord because he wanted to concentrate on his own shit and couldn't because GG is a full time job. They played 8 hours a day 5 days a week, dude. A weekend isn't enough time for Jon to write a script for one of his types of videos. He didn't put anything out during the whole year on GameGrumps. There is NOTHING terrible behind his departure from the show. There's even a goddamn live action skit they did about a T-Shirt and if you look in the background, there is a calender and if you fullscreen it and put it in HD, you will see "Jon Leaves" on one of the dates. It was planned ahead of time and there was no conspiracy. No one is acting like something terrible happened except the idiots that are mad that they won't mention Jon. They don't mention ANYTHING about the past GG and they only keep active shit up-to-date and talked about to stay fresh and new. Danny is a different person, and thus so is the show.

I've only known about JonTron for a month, but he seems like such a cool, nice, and humble dude. Also, he's actually really funny. I'd love to hang out with him.
God does he really hate Arin that much? WHat happened between them? Refuses to mention GG, refuses to ever go on GG, etc. Did Arin make some extreme disrespectful comment or something? Did he betray Jon's trust by expanding/monetizing a channel Jon wanted to be for fun gaming with his best friend? What happened between these two that makes them so alienated? It hurts.
He moved to NY with his girlfriend from what I know, he still friends with everyone at GG, the reason he doesn't want to bring up GG because it will take up the entire time slot and would start 1 or 2 fights in the crowed.

I can see that Jon is SO FOCUSED on seperating himself from gamegrumps and growing something of his own he refuses to be any part of it just so it doesnt fuck up the direction of him and game grumps and brings back any memories for fans to constantly bombard on comments on Jons channel or Game grumps channel.
So that is totally understandable and a necessary step in making something of your own!
