Great performance. Nothing stands up to the stop making sense performance though. That version is like a religious experience.
This still brings me to tears.
💯
How could you live without this this is the best of music 40 years ago still love my Mrs 40years on best thing of my life and I would not never swap it ever cheers James Anthony Sanderson
I watch this video every single day
David managing to not only look, but definitely sound as good as he did what.. forty years ago since Stop Making Sense, wow!
Sorry but that version is untouchable
Love Mauro, such energy and joy coming out of him!
The 4 Violin String Chorus with a 2 Cello backing. Killed the ending!
such a good arrangement of this tune
well, since I am the first one here, great version DB still has it going on... but I miss the harmony voices from earlier versions.
This is so great. This was always one of my favorite songs of his! And the whole Catherine Wheel lp is pretty awesome.
It's the real deal... and he sounds awesome
Been listening to a lot of Talking Heads stuff lately, it's cool to see a recent performance from David to see him still rockin' ::-)
The strings sound so awesome here!! They add a delightful layer of sound compared to the original from The Catherine Wheel. And of course the (conga?) drums are great too in both versions ::-)
What a performance....
Musicians are fantastic 👍
Love this !!!
Perhaps Byrne's greatest song and that is saying something.
Best concert ever for me
Perhaps
Favorite video might be stop making Sense. Best advice ever
Magnificent.
this song is so awesome! I like this version, it's pretty different! but I still prefer the cool sound of the keyboards on the chorus of the original version!
The version from "Stop Making Sense" is NOT the original version. The original version was part of musical score that David Byrne did along with Twyla Tharp for a Broadway musical called "Songs From The Catherine Wheel".
If you ain't listening to this you have missed out cheers James Anthony Sanderson
He can Stil perform like hell!! And good looking
En dos palabras ES-PECTACULAR!!!! Cuando vienes a Chile nuevamente?????
GREAT👍👍👍👍
When are they are going on tour again!!
The string section looked like they were having fun.
Interesting version of one of my favorite Talking Heads songs.
Well, it's really a David Byrne song, but the best version was in Stop Making Sense. So, it could be considered their song.
@@yourfairyking The Catherine Wheel songs
Not bad! Love this song! However, I miss Tina's killer bass.
yes, Tina is irreplacable
The strings make her forgetable .
@@Thatsmisteroldguytou yep
Tina is part of talking heads even when she is not there
no no no. they held db back.
wish to see you age clearing this day
Stop making sense!
Many times when people add string sections to their music is sounds cheesy and forced. Not so here! This is a fantastic arrangement.
i agree 100%
ポール マツカトニーとデビットバーンどっちとると言われたら、即答でデビットバーンと言うでしょう。
a little slow and percussion heavy
