Here is what I am doing. I really find this music a cure for depression. I take my cell phone - my iPhone has great sound. Lying on my bed I place the phone on my chest and put on the video. Don’t need earphones. Just the internal speakers. Dim the lights and go with the music. I am transported!! Just me and the flow of the song. My own little concert 😊

A unified people is their biggest fear and danger to their continued rule. I used to hitch hike daily through the 70's and only had good times with the people who picked me up. Yep, those days are gone but not dead at least for me. It lives on in my memory.
The heads were absolutely amazing. If you've ever seen David Byrne off stage, he's just a sweetheart of a guy. He's helped so many disadvantaged and marginalized youth, who like him, struggled to find healthy outlets to express themselves at such a vulnerable point in life. What better way then through artistic expressionism. That's called giving back. He's as real as they get. ❤

I saw the Talking Heads in Gainesville, Florida at the University of Florida. The school would put on a free concert every Halloween for the students. I knew it was going to be a crazy but I just didn't how much debauchery would be everywhere. When I first walked in the field. I saw three guys 7:14 dressed up as nuns, standing on top of the concession stand and urinating off the roof with their num habits lifted up just far enough to see plenty. I was thinking about Dorothy in the wizard of Oz when she said that We're not in Kansas anymore. Lol😅

Incredibly,,, in A HUGE New Jersey dance club hall with a thousand people, literally a thousand looking for love, the biggest bars were vast, everyone huddled there already friday night🎉buzzed blasted to the moon. I mean juiced , and Panama Red had just made an appearance big time. Your directed own movie was now in widescreen technocolor. David Byrne comes out on a ways away little stage by himself. Me and only one other cute girl are there, he plays this, we dance our brains out together by ourselves all alone. It was a mind blowning unbelievable moment for us. When done his set, for just the two of us, he said, " Thank you very much." Sometimes life is truely madness, a joy, and whacked out bizarre. I do now believe in God. Thank you.
Magnificent song I could listen to all night! I think this is from the wonderful 1984 'Stop Making Sense' concert film recently restored in 2023. If this band can't get you dancing nothing will. Tina is absolutely excellent on the bass. ❤

Once I was at a Huey Lewis concert, Neville Brothers opened. Huey did Take Me To The River in the encore and brought all the Neville Brothers out too and jammed for a good half hour. It was great. Talking Heads are still the best.

Pysco killer was the song that turned me on to alternative rock, i went out and bought talking heads 77, a totally unique and groundbreaking record, i can remember playing it for my freinds who at the time were still listining to elp, yes, and jethro tull. needless to say i got some weird looks when i started playing this record i still get a chuckle when i think about that, all those years ago, i cant believe its been 35 years.

They called it Billy Bass at the store I bought it from many years ago and it most likely needs fresh batteries in it but when you switch it on, the bass will fold itself in half to look at you and it plays *this* song....
