I LOVE, LOVE THE RIBBON. Oh yes I am a ribbon lady!¡! I make 99% of all my own bows for every holiday. The little old ladies and some of the gentlemen at the local retirement and nursing homes LOVE to get handmade bows to decorate their rooms with. I am waiting on a liver transplant list myself so it gives me something to do and make someone else happy.

They don’t have release days. You can call your local stores and ask if they have any available. Sometimes @thefreebieguy on IG announces when they might come out. But every store is different

I got a lot of stuff at 70% and 80 % ❤I’m very happy with what I got !!!❤ Also the prices are high and all. I never pay the retail prices anyways their always 40% off to start out with ❤. Than go down from there
I never pay full price at Michaels they are way too overpriced. I’m around a bunch of michaels in my area and they all do grab bags differently. A lot of them do random grab bags but usually at the end of the season when seasonal item get down to 80-90% off grab bags usually come out the following week. If you follow “the freebie guy” on IG he usually says when grab bags are coming. But it seems like everywhere does them differently.
You got some great things! I could see reindeer antlers out of the letter “Y” candy cane ornaments you received in the box - just a thought. ❤

The red ones are Chinese ones. I just bought a bunch on Temu that were plastic to celebrate Chinese new year

Well, you certainly got a haul! I hope you have a big space to keep it all since I suspect that’s the reason why Michael’s is doing it because they don’t wanna pay for the space to store all that so they’re giving it away! Somehow, I just don’t think Burlington Vermont is doing Michael’s grab boxes… 😢😢

I called my local Michael’s twice about their grab bags. The first time, she put me on hold “to find out” when they would be out and after waiting 15 minutes, i hung up. Then i called again and she heard me answer, but as soon as i asked about grab bags, she acted like she couldn’t hear me and then hung up. Today since I was on that side of town, I went to the store and of course, they didn’t have any. 🤬
Unfortunately not all Michaels are the same. Usually if I call they will let me know if they have any in stock but they have never told me when they come out.
what state are you in? i talked to an employee last week and she said that the grab boxes come out on the the same day across the U.S. I don't think that's true from watching different youtube videos. My Michales.....the only one in a 50 mile raidus, hasn't put there's out yet. It's Jan 25th now. I live 40 minutes away so there's no way I can just pop in and check every day. It angers me that people know people who work there and they get the tip off ahead of time. I never get the chance to buy the boxes as I don't know have that connection.
Hi Kathy. I live and California. I travel to different cities for work so I stop by different Michaels. I don’t have any connections to Michaels. After doing this for a while I’ve come to see no Michaels are alike. There’s a general time that they release seasonal grab bags. But some release them randomly depending on inventory. Most Michaels will let you know if they have grab bags available when you call. But they don’t say when are going to come out.
