I really *love* Michaels and I think this is *a lot* for a $10 bag!! I would totally be happy with these! It really would have been nice to see the full products - it was difficult to see them with you zoomed in as far as you were but really... from what I could see, most of these items look great. Oh, and I hope you had a wonderful birthday! :)
I was really happy with what I got in my boxes.. I’m filming in a smaller space right now and I’m actually waiting on a new tripod to get a higher filming angle. Most of my videos are smaller items and crafting. So filming close usually works. And thank you for the birthday greeting
Happy birthday🎈 Wow! You got some great finds! I had no idea they had such great items in these, but I realize it just depends on what is left over from the season and how they are packed into the boxes
I love that your store makes their boxes varied; ours just dumps the whole section of the same item in theirs, so you get a variety of maybe two or three, but lots of each.
After getting these boxes for quite a few years now, a lot of stores pack they’re grab bags/boxes differently. I’ve definitely picked up quite a few boxes with tons of multiples in a box lol
Thanks for showing us this. I haven't actually seen the contents of one of these before. I would cut the pride items into ribbons and use the ribbons for something else.
Lots of interesting things! Better than some of the junk I’ve seen in previous boxes. I guess it also depends on what each store has left over. I think you’ll get lots of good use out of a lot of it. TFS 🩷
Happy birthday for tomorrow. I wish we had all your craft shops here in the UK, we only have a couple and they never do grab bags. Tfs this video it was good to watch x
Great Haul! When I get a box with things I won’t use, I list them and sell, or take them to a seniors group home. The small flags I would modge podge on to a rainbow shape that is all the rage right now. If you don’t want them so bright, dry brush with white paint, or even an Antiquing wax! The large flag I would list for sale. Our pride time her in Canada is June and July, depending where you live. The stores in our small down decorate every year. Anyway have fun and gifting!
@@MyFrugalWonderland I’m sure someone that sews could figure out a project for the flags, my last box I got a bunch of DIY felt costumes for kids. So I cut them up and made craft treasure bags, all the felt was stickers, I added ribbons and pompoms too! I just sell them in our craft supplies booth for $1 a bag! Always enough supplies for several projects. When things don’t sell after a couple months, I donate to a seniors day care centre. I was just thinking, we got our last box, after Halloween last year!lol Guess it’s time for another trip to Micheals!lol
Happy Belated Birthday!🎉 You did well with both those boxes, lots of useable items, don’t know if I would have been able to resit the happy planner box though? 🤔
Thanks for the birthday greeting! It was hard to leave the boxes of happy planners at the store but I honestly don’t know what I would have done with so many.. but if I go back and they’re still there they might have to come home with me LOL
I was out of town this weekend and stopped by a couple of Michaels just to see what they had and I found so many grab bags full of flowers! I definitely left those behind lol
I would hope there is someplace in your community or if not in a larger city that would be love that type of a donation. Not only are you giving them some thing that they will not have to put forth funds for when they hold their holiday parade, but you are also fostering fellowship. And you can never put a price on that.
Toast might be for dogs…I saw something similar @ Organized Living. You put peanut butter on it and stick to stove-trim toenails while dog’s busy licking!
It is for dogs! I saw one in its original packaging and I was laughing because a couple people thought they might be cleaning brushes.. I think they can work for both purposes 😊
They do have the grab bags in Canada. I’ve seen quite a few hauls from people in Canada. You can always call your local Michaels and ask if they have any available.
It’s seems like they never have the letter that you’re looking for! When I need a specific letter and I look at my stash I never have the one I need! 😂
My store had a large, medium and small box. I went with the medium one and I love what I got. But do you think the size of the box makes a difference? Like do better things come in small packages?
I didn't know Michael's did these grab bag/boxes. Is there a schedule or do they just put them together sometimes? Also, I would have been excited about the pride stuff and disappointed at all the big letters. 😆
There isn’t really a set schedule for the grab bags.. they’re usually at the end of the season when they need to make room for the next season’s items. I don’t mind the pride stuff I just don’t need 13 packs of them lol
as a childless person these would not be great for me but all the summer toys are great for people with kids. I would probably keep some of the chalk items to the side in case there is a birthday party for a child I don't really know or I forgot about getting a gift. I have never bought a grab bag because I don't use general craft items just paper and fabric items. But I like watching the unboxings.

Happy belated birthday. If you want to do a swap I will swap with you. I really want that w. I'm marrying a Wright. Plus the things you wanted to donate to the school. Oh those flags are great material to sew little rainbow bags or totes

That’s a great way to repurpose the flags!! 😊
The flowers stuck on the cone fits in cemetery vases. You just slide them in and decorating the grave is done.
Yeah, I’ve gotten some of those flowers arrangements but the ones I’ve gotten in the past were is the vases that you stick them into the ground

Yeah, I was happy with the boxes I got! I’ve definitely picked up some flops! Thanks for watching! 😊
Box number one was the best in my opinion. Box 2 was well worth the 10.
I got a bunch of halloween and trick-or-treat stuff for next year :D
I donated all the toys to the local community center for their CHRISTMAS toy collection
Yes I definitely donate what I can!😊

I make raffle prizes for my local senior center.

I love that vellum pad! Loved your boxes Alice. How can you beat that for $10?
I’m happy with the boxes! But I do miss when they were $5 lol
I think that toast is for makeup brushes to clean
I thought that too and then I stopped at another Michaels and saw one in the original packaging and it’s for dogs! 🤣
I live in Canada and they don’t offer those bags nor those boxes for 10.00$. Lucky you!

the toast is a brush cleaner..:)
Oh that makes sense! I was thinking it was a sensory toy. Stick it on a kids desk and they can feel the texture, kind of like a fidget.
Thank you!! I really couldn’t that of what it was for!! That’s so awesome!!
The Michaels boxes are always fun… but wow their regular prices are outrageous
I agree!! I refused to pay regular price at Michael’s!
I love that letter D! My last name is Dunn & I don’t find “D’s” easily.

Michaels stores are outrageous with their prices
I agree!
The first box was better
That suggests to me that folks weren’t interested in that pride stuff.
Personally, I’d trash all the rainbow stuff. Other than that, looks like they’re worth $10 each!
I think they were worth it! Thanks for watching! 😊
I have yet been to Michael's and found these bixes.. grrrr
You can always call ahead and see if they have any available. It really depends on how much inventory they have left at the end of the season.
Next weekend is my birthday weekend I will be 67. You sound much much younger.
Happy early birthday!! I hope you enjoy your weekend!! 😊
Seems like you got good value for your $$.

Before I had kids I always had my nieces and nephews to give the toy to. Now with my little ones I can use them either for my kids or goodie bags!
Purse pillow? Meh..
My kids will like it in their play area so I don’t mind it! LOL

You “sing” when you talk. You raise your voice for the last few words of every sentence and it’s kinda distracting.
