What's kind of impressive is how Peppino didn't lose it sooner. Yes I watched MatPat's theory on this game, which if you apply it, Peppino not losing it sooner becomes more interesting.
I feel like peppino going god mode was the most unexpected thing the antagonist was expecting,He prepared this whole plan to destroy peppino and peppino just goes "Im tired of this shit"And destroys them

He had his head planted to the ground and he had the audacity to strike his normal pose and he fell WITH the tower that killed so many monsters in it and only got severely injured next to John's corpse only to spin around and laugh at him. SOMEHOW surviving that and we've seen him later at the credit picture just laying low.
