Erra is dope AF. They have had a bunch of scream vocalists over time. Garrison Lee was there best but J.T. is throwing down on this one. Their drummer has always been mind blowing.
Let's not forget Jesse Cash really bringing it these past few years even after hes been the real mvp of the band this whole time. Although Impulse is my favourite album with Garrison and his absolutely insane vocals with the synergy with Jesse and Alan was just mesmerizing. But no one can complain about this absolute masterpiece. Erra really bringing it!

WhereTheWavesAreBorn for sure. I didn’t vibe that well with Neon. Just felt something was missing. Drift was good though, JT came in and made a statement with that album. But this single makes me excited again for another album.
agreed. as much as I love Erra, Neon didn't do it as much for me. It had a few moments when it was pretty dope. But overall, I felt it was the weakest of their albums. Personally, I like this track better than any on Neon. I am fucking stoked to hear the next album.

Erra just gets better. Been with 'em since Andromeda and Jesse continues to expand the sound. They've carved something super unique and it's just such an immersive soundscape. JT was a perfect replacement for Garrison.

I found Erra a little while ago while jamming to my Within The Ruins/Periphery pandora station. Was a fan immediately.
The clean vocalist is the lead singer for a band called Ghost Atlas, it's so good. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Garrison was awesome and I wouldn’t want anyone else on augment and impulse, but I think JT is the superior vocalist at this point. He sounds spot on live.

Got to see ERRA live during tour with ABR last year, they were great energy and extremely talented live. Vocals, guitarwork, and sound mix were on point. Even more impressive is their lead guitarist also does the clean vocals, blown away by how the dude juggles vocals with some of those insane tapping parts.

Kawaii Imouto how are you supposed to know what I meant? Best that was exactly what I meant. The first song by them I ever listened to was pattern interrupt from impulse, wich came out in 2011. I didn’t listen much to them afterwards but now I’m realizing my mistake. I am an actual fan of them now. So why don’t you think about it for a second before you start pointing fingers?

I have been a fan of ERRA since I heard Augment, and while it took awhile for Drift and Neon to grow on me, one complaint I had was that with JT they lacked power that Garrison (Their old voacalist) had. The vocals just seemed safe and this song has completely proven that JT has it in him to explore range and bring back that punch that ERRA has been missing.
Alex gets so slept on as a drummer. Almost never gets the credit he deserves. Glad you gave him some props.

Oh shit! The cleans came out of nowhere but they were so perfect! They didn't drop the vibe of aggression and existed with such an original melody. I'm in love with this song. It's perfect. Perfect.

The way that the tapping riff came in at the beginning reminded me SO MUCH of "Make Total Destroy" by Periphery. Nice song, will have to check out more stuff by this band. 👍

Jesse Cash is a beast, all he does is make music 24/7/365. And JT Cavey's voice is insane 🤘🏻 Wasn't a big fan of Neon, but I Love Drift, one of my favorite albums ever
I found erra about 6 years ago and haven't turned back I can't get enough and I really feel like the keep their fans interested and pumped for new stuff. They are one of few bands that consistently get better every new record while somehow never topping their older stuff lol.

If you want to hear another band with a (for me) perfect mix of screaming and clean vocals you should really check out Imminence! I suggest Paralyzed or Lighthouse (I know their album is „already“ 2 months old)

Saw them play this one live in Lawrence on Sunday and it's one of their best live songs. Everyone that goes to catch them on the Neon Alien tour is in for a treat when these guys take the stage.
Era are just such amazing composers. The track is just so full of amazing melodies and atmospheres, and the heavy parts are just BRUTAL!!!!

I found this band because of you Nik. This song definitely has a bit of an Architects vibe in the riffs. What gets me are the clean vocals. Lots of comparisons in the comments. To me this song reminds me of some of the best moments of the now defunct band Saosin. Not exactly the same genre but a similar vibe Imo.
Their style is so unique, I absolutely love Erra!

Hey friend, listen to their second album Augment, songs like Crimson and Dementia are true masterpiece, I also recommend Pulse, Prometheus, Frostbite and Ultraviolet, quite catchy tracks, different harsh vocalist though. Dreamcather is another of their masterpiece with ... another vocalist again.

Also, did you check out Bad Omens's new album? I think Dethrone and Blood are total bangers and Kingdom of Cards is very unusual yet quite enjoyable.
