The bus captain suffered "leg abrasions", SBS Transit said in response to CNA's queries. According to bus operator SBS Transit, the bus captain of Service 27 mounted a kerb as it was exiting the basement of Terminal 3 towards Terminal 1 at about 1pm.
this type of incident is why I despise rear-facing seats, cause anyone seated on those 'backward' seats can risk whiplash injury... but our buses here seemed to have more and more rear-facing seats with each new models added to the fleet...
Agreed. Also now they made the seats much shorter than before with no headrest. High risk for whiplash for those with taller bodies and weak neck muscles
I was once on the front most passenger seat on a bus in Perth when it crashed into a car in front. Everyone except the driver had to get off on to another bus that came to continue the route. I was left wondering how much trouble would the driver get in.
Those roads are very narrow. A slight mistake can lead to a crash. Well I see it coming in future. Hope those paper graduates 🎓 on top can have a better vision of things .
I wave on my YT screen when we went pass the bus captain 0:40. The video is almost like a Jurassic Park theme ride ... first some foliage ... then the scene of a typical Bus accident showing a bus captain uncle at entrance of the bus in the middle of a pandemic in 2021 ... the ride then carries on.

Those narrow lanes at Changi airport that the buses have to go thru are so poorly planned. Pity those bus captains have to face those lanes everday.
