I am having a problem that just started with my 2007 Yukon Denali; I tried to remote start it from inside the house a couple of days ago, and after several tries, I went outside and tried. The lights flashed but nothing. Then my key fob didn't work and I had to open the door with the key and no lights came on anywhere. I started it up and went to the post office and coming out I forgot and tried to remote start and nothing; and when I opened the door with the key, the running board did not come out; I use my jump box and it started right up. I went to the store. When I turned it off, everything went out again and I had to manually lock each door this time. When I came out of the store I thought I was going to have to jump box it, but the key fob worked and it started. I just recently purchased a new battery, but went today and had it and the alternator checked and both are good. After having it checked I had to start it twice with key before it caught and turned over. Please I do not want to get got by shops, trying to take advantage can you please help me with this. Thanks for the info. I have a 2014 Yukon xl 5.3. I went to change my oil pressure sensor. Went to unplug fuel pump relay so I can disconnect the fuel line and saw that I didn't have either of the fuses in your video. It appears on the drawing but both missing and car runs. Been driving like this for 2 years. How is my car running?
I have a 2011 yukon and I didnt have a fuel pump relay or fuel pump fuse and it still runs and drives with no codes. Good fuel rail pressure too. Put relay and fuse in, no changes. Trying to figure out why auto start wont work, no engine codes. 130k miles
Hello and thank you. Sight unseen my mechanic is saying I have a bad fuel pump. $1000.00 minimum. My brother told me to swap out the relay. Found your video. I switched the ones around you suggested. Have not changed the fuse yet. But still no start. It cranks, it tries, but no turn over. From what I understand a bad fuel pump doesn't allow enough gas to reach the engine. If that is the case, would I smell gasoline and think it is flooded? Please advise, I don't have $1000.00 plus towing cost.
I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche 5.3L Flex Fuel LTZ Truck. When truck sits for a day, 1st attempt to start the engine barely turns over then makes that dead battery clicking noise and stops. Turn key to off position and then try again, engine turns over as normaly would and starts right up. Battery has been replaced twice in past month (local Shops solution). Everything from firewall to front bumper has been replaced with OEM parts including engine. What causes this and what needs replaced? I have been told maybe the IGNITION RELAY? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated. Robert
So my '07 Yukon will just die sometimes. I figured out it was caused by going over bumps too hard, or sometimes just by vibrations, and then narrowed it down even further to the junction box. The relay you say is the headlights HI/LO relay, sometimes if I just touch or wiggle that one with my finger, the truck will die. Or if it's not starting, wiggling that will get it started. Ideas?
I found out it has a fuel pump relay of some sort under the trunk by the bank that’s why the relay is missing in the fuse box. It wasn’t my pump it was the module if I’m remembering what the mechanic said correctly
I have a question I have a 07 Chevy Tahoe and they rear end my truck and it deployed the air bags on the sides on driver side and passenger side . So now that I got my truck back I tried to turn it on and it cracks but on my gage of the gas doesn’t move and it not getting gas to the front to motor ? I checked the relays and fuse for the pumps but I notice that when I turn on the ignition for a few seconds I checked the fuse number 20 and it cuts the power ? Do you know if the Tahoe have a button or switch that I need to know ?
My 07' Yukon won't shut off with the key removed from the ignition after driving. Any suggestions? I pulled the crank/run relay and it shut off but now it won't turn back on.

I had an issue with the battery because the truck has been sitting a while and now I have a brand new starter and a new battery, the dash is saying that the parking assist is off and it will not even read the fuel level even though I had just dumped 5gal into the tank... Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get this truck registered and drive it

Mine did that. Was actually 2 things. Once I left the back wiper on -wiper was not attached. It ran the battery out overnight. 2nd time was the starter ground cable issue

Yea check to see if the fuel Pump Relay is getting power. Are you able to communicate with the ecm with a scan tool when the key is in the on position?
@@LehewTech no i don't have a scanner however i did figure out what was wrong. I hooked the lines the opposite direction. I switch them and boom fired right up thank you for your respond. I don't know how I missed it but it happens thanks again have a good day

QUESTION: SAME YEAR OF YUKON. 6.2L. CRANKS GOOD, WILL NOT START. Dove it home one night, would not start next morning. Cranks, fuel line has pressure, ran for about 20 minutes after I sprayed fuel into throttle body, then stopped again. Now even with spraying fuel in, it will not start. Checked, and swapped all related relays and fuses are good. Ground issue maybe? Am at a loss. Please help!!! Thahpoet at yahoo dot com

You saved me a whole bunch of money, as switching my fuel pump relay with the fog lamp relay, solved my turn-over problems...for now, ha.

weird my 2011 tahoe doesnt even have a fuel pump relay. Its missing for me. No issues with starting car but its definitely missing for me....

Battery cable issues! At this age, just get all new cables.
Any suggestions on 07 GMC Yukon Denali that won't turn off (have to pull fuel pump relay to stop) and has parasitic drain on battery?

Will it start if you apply some throttle as you are cranking the engine?
@@LehewTech i tried that. Both pumping a couple times, and also holding at 1/2 pedal. Thinking possible throttle sensor ?
