This meatloaf looks like it could have been served to a king on a feast 300 years ago! I bet Chef Jean-Pierre spills the beans (not really lol) for us, just so we can feel like kings and queens too when we serve and dine on this masterpiece. I never thought I could cook until Chef made it all look easy and broke it down for me step-by-step in a way that makes sense. Thank you for sharing your art and expertise!

I made this!!! Amazing!!! Wonderful flavor and texture. People ask me WHY I cook "Gourmet". I tell them I have a Great "instructor" and an appreciative husband who devours every bite and tells me that "You can make THIS again!! He's never disappointed! This is a "must" for dinner. Nothing he does is complicated to make, but oh so delicious!!

There are a lot of youtube chefs out there, but there is only one chef Jean Pierre!
His cheerful character and deep knowledge of the art of cooking makes every new video a feast! No fancy recipes, he learns you the basics of good classic cooking. Prepare: mise en place, keep your workspace clean, butter is burning at 155-175 C , don't touch that meat you just put in the pan, let it bake for some time, golden 'onyo' and garlic tips...Love it!

I have been cooking for 40 years and never stopped loving to learn new recipes, tips and techniques. Cooking is one of those subjects you can never completely master every aspect of it. It is hard to find a you tube video channel that has good information, well tested recipes and an experienced chef able to explain each step. Glad I found this channel.

I made this last night and it was Fabulous. Total cost of ingredients was about 42 dollars. I used ground turkey breast since no ground chicken was available but will be getting a meat grinder soon. This would be awesome for a holiday dinner meat entree instead of something more traditional .

I followed your advise not to do this on a monday, instead I did it yesterday on a tuesday. This is very tasty! The mint inside gives this a light taste. I was not able to get the same kind of bacon. Since I'm a technician I had to improvise a little in order to get simular wall thickness (schedule), kind off cross barred the bacon. Worked but I had less well pronounced geometry. Gave most of it away to friends and they were very pleased.

You also mentioned the garlic puree in a couple other videos, so I finally made it, and followed your technique of adding it shortly before adding something that can "trap" the essence. In my case it was a spinach stew. You are right that garlic tastes so much more pleasant like this, almost floral! Thanks for all the wonderful techniques.

I appreciate the time and thorough explanations in your teaching. A good cook wants to learn and perfect his/her skill in the kitchen. This chef goes beyond his fifty-four years of expertise and experience, to insure your mastery of this fine art at home. You would have to dig up Julia, to find such talent! He’s amazing! And his youthful spirit proves; “A child could do this!” Thanks again Chef.
