    Anyone who watched the $3,000,000 South African home would agree that the houses here in Nigeria that go for the same price are just massively over-priced. The difference in quality between these two homes is just too huge. As always nice video Tayo, your work is really impressive 👍

      Just because your a useless failure doesn't mean everybody else is to or that it's the states fault. Neither does it mean everybody more Successful than you is corrupt. Nigeria has been gradually building all her wealth, infrastructure for awhile now. Even more like mega projects are being built like Eko(African Dubai), Centenary City, Imperial international Business City, Ayimba Economic City, Orange Island, and Greater Port Harcourt City. Other projects such as homes, buildings, hospitals, roads, dams, powerplants, and rails are being completed every year. Nigeria will be in the top 10 largest economies come 2050-60. Nigeria has one of the fastest growing middle classes in the developing world. GOD BLESS NIGERIA home to the richest and most influential Black Man Aliko Dagote, and the most Independent, Wealthy, Progressive, Industrious, and cultured Black People in the world. Nigeria's Rich are 99% Black unlike the other African countries who's wealthy are primarily White Colonist and Asian immigrants. All Nigerian businesses are native owned and expansive all over Africa.

    Please nobody should come here and say it's overpriced, this is ikoyi, land alone cost more than a million dollar cos it's a highbrow area and also due to over population and limited lands in Lagos, for those of u that are not familiar to Lagos, ikoyi is a neighborhood for the rich in Lagos, one of the best places to be in Lagos, this house is very much worth it for a place like ikoyi, just like going to California, you'll see houses smaller than this for this same amount, it's not only a Nigerian thing, the more developed a place is and also the more people buy properties/lands there, the more the value of the properties of that place increases, there are many beautiful places in Lagos u can be in for lesser prices and bigger houses but as for this house in this location, it's very much worth it

    • @abrahamsarah4113
      @abrahamsarah4113 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what am trying to explain to them. You buy or build a house that's way bigger and beautiful than this is other parts of Lagos for 1 million dollars but in ikoyi I think the house is worth it because land alone can cost you up to 1million dollars

    This house can cost around 450,000 USD in Kenya with a backyard and bigger lawn. I don't understand why Nigeria is so expensive on property.

    • @kattwilliams6469

      The house is overpriced but buying a land in that location on the island of Lagos will set you back 450,000 USD and even more. Those are reclaimed land from the ocean.

      @@juanfernandapique7499 The issue is not just about being rich, it's about providing quality along with that luxury. These lux homes are 9 times out of 10 badly designed overpriced, and Nigerian consumers are deluded in thinking that because they are paying top dollar than they are getting luxury. I have seen another youtuber feature apartments on the infamous banana island where cupboard were made from IKEA and not well finished but asking top dollar. Too much corner cutting and less attention to good quality design and finishing in the Nigerian real estate market. Nigerian need to learn from South africa and east africa how to design real estate and create neighbourhood instead of overpriced enclaves...lawns...concrete everywhere. I would like to think that Nigerian elite have better taste than this. They travel all over the world do they not and that is the best they can come up with?

      It’s still nice to have!
      Trust me, children growing up in a house like this , would be able to hold their own anywhere in the world!
      Less privileged children living in a hovel can grow up to be timid and be easily browbeaten or to be stroppy and have a chip on their shoulder!
      Last last, whether children grow and leave on not , you can still sell this property for profit and enjoy the remainder of your life in relative comfort!
      Where do I sign ?
