I actually like the blank switches on the wheel. By cheaping out on the interior and standard features, they can lower the price and get more people into a muscle car. A new narrow body challenger Hellcat is like 60k. People gladly pay that for a new truck
What a sick car to drive. I managed to drive the base car with the 5.7 and it was a super hard car to drive in terms of clutch and gas. Awesome video I look forward to the next one!
Straightline drag strip car? Wrong the widebody actually handlesbetter than any challenger ever has. It takes alittle work but it's track times are still really damn fast
Personally I like the challenger way better than the chargers imo. It still has that true muscle car look to it. Even though the body is dated still looks mean yet very good. Hellcats are just badass is all it is.
@@jackjensen2287 I don’t think That’s how these foot mounted e brakes operate. To engage these, you press it down with your foot, and to disengage, you do the same thing.
I'd rather this had an automatic transmission, a good DCT that can handle the power and torque. For a car that you're going to launch every so often, it just makes more sense.
@@whyareyoureadingmyname5854 for one it isn’t at least in America and Porsche is trying to make biofuels to preserve gasoline cars. Also anyone who thinks electric cars will be the main choice of car in the next 15 years is crazy. There are way too many gas cars on the road and the last time I checked electric cars made up only 3% of vehicles on the road. It may be 5-6% now but I wouldn’t bet that it’s more than 40% for another 20 years at least due to the fact that for most people who don’t lease, cars are an investment that are supposed to last 10-15 years depending on the person (loan people only not lease).

They are for adaptive cruise control, but the Hellcat has more cooling up front, so no room for the cameras.

My dream ride, a black Dodge Challenger Hellcat widebody, matted, murdered out.
mine is polished with manual transmission but everything else same
I rented a Chrysler 200 for a couple of days. I have to see the infotainment is actually pretty good for what it is
I prefer Chryslers infotainment system way more than ford or GMs. I prefer the styling and how the menus are laid out
the floor brake and blank buttons for radar cruise are the only negative things. but still love this beast
I am building a 1200 HP dodge Challenger demon and i swapped a manual transmission
The car Doug Demuro nearly crashed.
Happy belated bud!

Widebody under 70k he complaining about buttons lol.
The most american car ever? Those things are made in Canada
Canada is North America sooo... 🤷🏾♂️
Heavy clutches are better for high power cars.
Have you reviewed the challenger srt8 2009-2014
Did they only give you black key?
How do you know ..
I see that there’s a pedal mounted parking brake. Any recommendations on hill starting one of these bad bois?
Since it has a release that you pull with your hand, you can start on the gas and as you come off the clutch you can release the parking brake

Thankful it has a manual one less automatic scum

Will these depreciate or be worth a ton in 2041 🤔
they may be worth a ton due to them being the last muscle cars before electrification
I was literally thinking the same thing!!
Gasoline is being banned worldwide by 2027 so even then you won't be able to drive it
