When I went to Disney in the 90s, the food was vastly too expensive, so my parents were very strict about that. In our weekend there, all I got was one of those giant lollipops. It seemed like such an extravagant purchase that my childhood self felt too guilty to even eat the thing. I still have it with the packaging intact, some 20 years later. It makes an okay wall decoration, I guess. :\
That’s a bummer. Why be frugal on vacation? Can’t take the money with you when you check out. Might as well have a good time.

I was not a 'Disney Parks' kind of guy (some people get married there!), but my kids loved it and I always appreciated their customer care and operations. We had a severe food allergy in the Family and were always treated well in all their restaurants. The Chef would often come out to talk to us about options that would work for the allergy and would often cook the food personally.
Seeing all the people in the background pushing babies around....they wont remember being there....waste of money
They probably took their kids because they didnt have anyone to watch them. Who the fuck cares anyways not our kids, not our worries.

Truth, I’ve ate at a few of the Disney restaurants (sit down style restaurants) and I can’t say they were anything but delicious! As you said, the meal package is well worth the added price
@Jonas Comb you caught me at an excellent time lol I just logged onto TH-cam, the price ranges from $55 per day - $120 per day. It all depends on whether you want quick service or dine in meals. I generally get the $78 meal package which includes 1 quick service meal and one sit down meal as well as 2 snacks. At the end of the day you end up saving A TON of money. Especially since every meal package comes with a refillable mug so your refreshments are bottomless

@Jonas Comb you can definitely bring food and snacks into the park, if they’re in glass containers they won’t allow it though. And if the people working security are being assholes for any reason just make up a lie and say you’re diabetic/suffer from low blood sugar and they’ll have to let you bring it in! You didn’t hear this from me lol
