+EsperanzaVence several cultures light a candle in remembrance of loved ones who have passed. I have picnicked in a cemetery before; no disrespect was ever intended. some of the areas are so peaceful and lovely. I like some of the customs I heard about from Dias da los Muertos, such as leaving food and drink offerings. Western culture has a lot of weirdness about death. there weren't any left from the Native American side of our heritage to teach us, so we go in instinct about a lot of things. you are so very loved!
WTF happened to Rest In Peace 😮 Fkn bizarre. Thank you dear Warlanda and YK. A cold sunny early jaunt. Will pop to the castle later. Coffee hugs and drugs to all crew!
+UK-Blue the tradition is odd to us, but in some ways really cool; the dead are still part of the family in an active way to these people. glad you had a good romp! enjoy your day and know that you are very loved
