1:16 even that shot only showing the landscape with the dimmed sunlight (even though there are those shining creatures in the sky) is creating such a good atmosphere. People used to live there, now its all empty and stuff man I cant even put it into words

I have nightmares sometimes, and they are obviously scary since they target what you actually are scared of and often I am scared rushing towards bad things. But in the most recent one, my sister was there and she understood that it was a nightmare, she knew when we entered a different part of the nightmare, and despite the terrifying nature of it all, it suddenly became manageable, I was not scared. As long as we have each other, the "unmanageable" situations suddenly become a lot more manageable. And I think that is truly beautiful.

This video gives me the same vibes I get when I’m watching National Geographic. It’s so calming and puts a relaxing overtone narrative even though they’re supposed to sound scared shitless. It’s so calming to see just these things just moving around, they’re acting natural just like other living organism. It’s really interesting that for all the other disasters that wiped out animal species, earth always goes back to a calm, peaceful environment, but for when humans are wiped out, it’s always the ‘end of everything ever’
Since there are still birds (and presumably more non-intelligent life forms) we can draw two possible conclusions.
1- Civilization as we know it is extinct, and the few human beings that remain would be nothing more than nomadic beings who try to manage as best they can in a world that is no longer made for them.
2- 'Something' (presumably those things) wiped out humanity, but for a reason that probably only they understand, they left the other life forms alive
Regardless of both alternatives, they are still terrifying

Yeah it kinda sets some weird atmosphere, monsters that vary in size, shape etc sometimes sometimes showing up in large fields or quiet habitats,in a world where there is no human life but humans structures,nothing except you,monsters and the remnants of civilization that's no where to be found. Imagine getting transported to such a world,where are the builders of these structures? Are they hiding? Where are these monsters from? Are they natural to the planet? Which ones are dangerous and which ones aren't? How does this world work?

This would be great as a mockumentary about the last person on earth, recording an other worldly earth, no other people left, maybe a singular, and extremely minimal AI computer program. The person, documenting what they see, trying to explain it to themselves, and wrestling with the nihilistic fact that everything they've recorded and said is for no one but themselves, and that this whole thing, of recording and trying to explain (which they never achieve explaining really anything) is just a failed catharsis, because nothing they've done has any value, even to posterity; they've made something to an audience of none.
An AI, surviving and documenting everything would be an interesting, kind of reminds me of love death and robots

There's something so creepy about the way that giant thing walks. Like it's mimicking the motions of putting one foot in front of the other, but it moves more like it's hovering slightly off the ground than actually walking. It makes it feel ... wrong.

For this, it started yesterday when I saw a video of a tornado, and played around with a cool instrument in Mixcraft 8 (which you can hear throughout the video), that gave me a good idea of the atmosphere for the rest of the video. And yeah, I start my videos not from a story but from an atmosphere, in order to make them really immersive. The rest came naturally, with editing done in Premiere, composing in After effects and CGI in Blender. Hope that helps!

This creature is actually quite cute to me, probably because it’s very reminiscent of silt striders from Morrowind and landstriders from The Dark Crystal. Both of which I find equally intimidating and adorable.

The movement is off at times where it looks like it’s floating, but overall this is awesome.
It is floating it is a tornado. And not the obvious tornado. Many times tornados form like this with multiple legs. It's unusual for them to last very long this way because they combine into one a lot of times. The author of the video likely widened the base with VFX to give the legs an elephant type foot. Also likely added some legs.

Shame the beginning didn’t work that funnel in with the beast a little more. I know it’s 6 years out, but having that big thing turn out to be the funnel, with it gently gliding down and touching down to begin wandering was a bit of a missed opportunity imo. And I wish I’d gotten a better look at those shimmering things, or shimmering thing, whichever it is

So that tornado Eldridge being has turned into one of my recurring nightmares. Often, I dream about a tornado outbreak happening in my suburban city in the Houston area, where tornadoes above EF3 rarely hit us. Sometimes, it’s just jumbled chaos, sometimes it has a plot. Sometimes it starts happening in the background of one of my dreams.
Most frequently, a sequence plays out where I’m on a vantage point overseeing the chaos of many tornadoes forming on the horizon, and it taking place in the night, I can only see them in flashes of lightning. I also am sometimes in a moving vehicle, presumably trying to escape. Sometimes, those tornadoes start morphing into a chaotic creature very much alike the one seen in the video, but I can only compare it to the Cthulhu. It’s indescribable and incomprehensible, it’s a mess of tornadoes forming a being, and usually there’s a man screaming “o-oh my god!” In pure terror and agony in the background.
Disturbingly, not long after I had one of those nightmares, our first EF3 tornado in years touched down in my city and caused havoc, grazing the school my mom works at by the hairs(with students inside but she had left to come pick me up from my school.) and me being a huge extreme weather nerd it was honesty a horrific yet exhilarating experience, being outside during the storm getting KFC before taking shelter was one of the dumbest things I ever did but it was worth experiencing 100+ mph RFD winds.

That’s what I mean. Everyone expects aliens to be these highly advanced creatures but I would view them as just organisms that survive, just like any other animal. Take the movie Aliens for instance, the facehuggers don’t attack the people on the ship and cause them terror just because they want to that what the Predators (our look on aliens) do. Instead the aliens in the movie simply just do these things out of the benefit of their species rather than to terrorize people. Most people usually don’t think is this while watching movies like ‘The Thing’ or ‘The Blob’ they just think “oh no giant lovecraftian monster!” That’s what I’ve learned from those type of eldridge movies.
