Cosmic/lovecraftian horror is hard to pull off since it doesnt follow the traditional plot outline Its not about character development, but more so about the slow and steady entrance to the unknown before the big reveal of powers much greater and the descent into helplessness and dread of the revelation.
Exactly. That's the reason its so interesting. Almost nobody realizes that almost every movie or book, doesn't matter if belongs to "art" or "pop culture", is overly focused in we humans as a race, or individals... As if nothing exists outside ourselves. There are lot of topics far more interesting that watching us in a mirror, so to speak.
I always think like this. The actual creature doesnt make it scary itself but instead its the setting and the environment that makes it truly terrifying
The truly terrifying is not what you see or hear. It's what you imagine. I mean, what do we see? A foggy and dark area with flying creatures that definitely don't come from earth. The creatures don't harm anyone and are just flying around and "sitting" on a tower. They don't seem to care about that little human who is filming them. At the end he suddenly runs away and the screen turns black. That's not really scary. But it becomes scary if we imagine what these creatures could do or why he ran away at the end. Maybe he just saw a car and wanted to stop it or the creature did something that scared him. Maybe the film just stopped because the camera had no more akku or he dropped and broke it. But I imagined that the creature was crawling down while he filmed the street and then tried to attack or grab him. He ran away but the creature followed. As the camera turned black he was grabbed and eaten. If the horror film is good enough you don't even have to show the creature many times. You just have to build up the right atmosphere and hint stuff the viewers could imagine to happen off-screen.
I don‘t know if others agree, but I personally really like the idea of these creatures not being threats. They may look otherworldly and terrifying, but in reality they are just being chill and hanging out.

I like how the video leaves me in confusion. The cryptic at the start doesn’t seem to panic the filmer all to much, however when they get to the tower, something starts to worry them until they break into an all out sprint. Is it just me or does it look like the road curves 90 degrees down into nothingness?
This is the second clip by Moon Prod I watch, Beautiful work, a nightmare delicately portraited by the aesthetics (tone and color) of conjunction of images in which each frame is a motion painting depicting an emotional landscape of hopeless fear, framed by a minimalistic, though very deep soundtrack in which the sound seems to enhance the colors while describing the emotions, a moving piece of art.
I absolutely love this stuff. Just some giant creature hidden in the fog, it's so cool but scary! I always imagine stuff like this, I wish to see a movie made with this concept or a series, as long as it doesn't involve romance. Romance in horror is something I do not enjoy.
I am pretty sure that sound at the end would be a perfect example of how a T-rex would have sounded. I would id just let sit out and let it eat me like whatever better than living under billionares.
cosmic horror will be one of my favorite genres no matter how I suck at dealing with horrors.
Amzing visuals. It's astounding how the creature moves with the phone at some points. Films are amazing nowadays 👍🏼👍🏼
OH you also made these! I just came from your aquatic nighttime video and this makes a ton of sense. I love what you do.
I think this was epic, even though I'm not sure I saw all the monsters. I saw the giant moss-worm creature, the weird growth on the building, and the shadow of the thing at the end. Let me know if I missed anything.
Amazing. Incredible. Awe-inspiring. Thank you!
I like how the video leaves me in confusion. The cryptic at the start doesn’t seem to panic the filmer all to much, however when they get to the tower, something starts to worry them until they break into an all out sprint. Is it just me or does it look like the road curves 90 degrees down into nothingness?
One of the best tricks to make a scary video, have something far in the distance, barely visible but massive
This kind of ambience is weirdly relaxing ...
Damn. Make a full movie like this. Like 2 hrs long. I would definitely go to theatre to watch it.
Humans: we are gonna die
Birds: we are gonna die
Every other animal:we are gonna die
The Thing In The Fog: hello
I absolutely love this stuff. Just some giant creature hidden in the fog, it's so cool but scary! I always imagine stuff like this, I wish to see a movie made with this concept or a series, as long as it doesn't involve romance. Romance in horror is something I do not enjoy.
I don't think it's scary, I think it is beautiful.
This guy's videos remind me of "In the shadow of the colossus" but it looks even better. That game should be remade someday. In some way or another
I am pretty sure that sound at the end would be a perfect example of how a T-rex would have sounded. I saw a few videos saying that it's growl(if you can call it that) was mostly consisted of vibrations that could be felt and of course heard. It would automatically cause a fight or flight to us. Imagining that is fucking terrifying lol.

Criatura estranha, existe isso? Coragem ir atrás
why are you running the right way 2:21?
Gosh. This gives me Shadow of Colossus vibes. Love the enigmatic ethereal atmosphere. :)
Well done. A simple vid with simple effects created an eerie, unsettling feel.
These are probably "creatures" coming from underground/under the sea/volcanos!?
Good catch!👍
*The creature that founded the founding Titan*
This is excellent. The unknown will always be a house of fear... add to that omnious creatures? You've got me. It's that you can't really define what they are that makes it scary. The locale, the visuals and perfectly timed music makes it all great.👍🏾👏🏾Kudos!
I WAS SEARCHING FOR RAINH FOG FOOTAGE WHEN I FIRST FOUND THIS AND IT FREAKED ME OUT SO MUCH WELL DONE
Damn this is awesome. Subbed
0:26 Bro was running like a roblox charater
WAT DID YOU SAY?
@@ЕкатеринаКуценко-ш2м he said he running like a roblox character u can read it again, don't ask again
hate to break it to you, but not everything humans can do that roblox characters can also do (like running) doesnt need to be like roblox. thats like saying “look, theres grass! just like in roblox.”
Remember, if you see a creature in the distance and want to film it, it is necessary that your hand has a seizure.
I didn’t expect to see the DEVOUR OF GODS dress up as grass for holloween
Is that guy by his own and his camera with 2 fog monsters? And what the heck is that monster at 1:02?
Wdym theres two
I'm on this side of the earth: eat boiled eggs in peace.
