Baby oil works just as well without the need for boiling or refrigeration. One drop of perfume or cologne to one regular size bottle of baby oil lasts just the same. When you think you need to refresh, no need to reapply, just rub the area slightly to reactivate.
Naaa, see Vaseline has like bo smell. So you’d get pretty much ONLY the scent of the fragrance. Baby oil has a smell, so it wont be the pure scent of the fragrance when you mix them. I personally always use fragrance free lotion if im wearing cologne

And you’d have to pour a bunch of your expensive perfume in there and use it fairly quickly before it goes bad or becomes rancid vs just applying Vaseline with a spritz of your favorite perfume that day which lasts far longer that way too. Seems like an unnecessary and very wasteful extra step. You gonna then do that with each of your perfumes and just collect scented Vaseline containers you have to then lather your whole body in to be able to use it before it all goes rancid much faster than the original way of using Vaseline and scents?
Be careful warming vaseline. Don't do it with a flame. Vaseline is flammable. I actually use it as a firestarter when camping when there's difficulty in getting a campfire started. Works like a charm..

Yes. I like using 100% unrefined coconut oil. It's not as greasy as Vaseline, and has antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties in it. It holds fragrance well on the skin. 😊❤

I heard long time ago, and it does work, to put a non scented lotion or cream after the shower on your neck/chest arms or wherever you want the scent to last...then mist the fragrance in those areas. It helps the fragrance absorb into your skin and clothing. It does last all day and it makes your clothes smell light and scented too without actually spraying it.

Poor folks discovered this hack years ago . Basically, an inexpensive fragrance becomes longer lasting due to the oil base. Liquid unscented oils and butters like shea or coconut will work as well. No need to boil, it just needs to be soft. You can skip the refrigerator step. Thanks for sharing.

Be careful warming vaseline. Don't do it with a flame. Vaseline is flammable. I actually use it as a firestarter when camping when there's difficulty in getting a campfire started. Works like a charm..

Unscented lotion also works as a binder to the perfume. Put some unscented lotion on you, spray, and you'll be smelling great all day.
Now we don’t have to buy oil based colognes, we just make cologne based Vaseline.

Yes. I like using 100% unrefined coconut oil. It's not as greasy as Vaseline, and has antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties in it. It holds fragrance well on the skin. 😊❤

I heard long time ago, and it does work, to put a non scented lotion or cream after the shower on your neck/chest arms or wherever you want the scent to last...then mist the fragrance in those areas. It helps the fragrance absorb into your skin and clothing. It does last all day and it makes your clothes smell light and scented too without actually spraying it.

This hack has been used since I was a kid. My mom will rub a little Vaseline behind her ears her wrist and behind her knees. Then she would spray her perfume in those spots and the fragrance would last longer. She always smelled good and still does. Something I do myself 40 plus years.

Ive been doing this with unscented creams for years, no boiling or refrigerating needed. Just mix well.

. Basically, an inexpensive fragrance becomes longer lasting due to the oil base. Liquid unscented oils and butters like shea or coconut will work as well.
No need to boil, it just needs to be soft. You can skip the refrigerator step.

If you want your fragrance to have a long lasting effect just buy oil perfume, spray on nape of your neck and wrist ( pressure points) or buy eau de parfums.
