Great shooting Andy, hard lines on the missed pigeon must of just been his lucky day. I like the look of the katran and obviously the hawke on top is top class
Andy Do you eat the squalls? Or pidgins .I live in the US 🇺🇸. And the squalls are not in season yet. Still raising their young. And with the air rifle .out of so many shots you will get a flyer. Meaning the pellet will wobble in flight and be off target. If you have any questions about pcp air rifles comment me back. JWHITE 426.
Great as always Andy. I saw these guns at the NEC and liked the look of them. What's your honest opinion on them and will you be using it again in anymore videos? Thanks
Hi Andy another good vid, I'm looking for a new gun but I can't decide between katran compact bottle in .22 or Agt uragan compact.do you know you're shot count because when I spoke to the guys at airmaks they were trying to up the shot count because the count was quite low for the bottle size all the best
Hi, Compact Bottle sub 12 would be around 250 shots at a guess, they are 300cc, the 165cc cylinder version gets 140 shots so man maths its not far off double the air so near double the shots
Nice video and great shooting as always bud. That looks a nice rifle also looks pricy tho lol. Been out with the the shotty at all? Hope alls well cheers
@@andysrange8789 I can shoot out 100 yards but I don’t, clearly you shoot out and don’t kill pass 50 and you didn’t want to wound the squirrel but the pigeon took off 😂
@@andysrange8789 if you get use to it.... it will turn to be great gun .... is that the compact or CB ? I have the regular Katran with 400 mm barrel and air tube.
Just curious, why are you shooting animals that don't seem to be overly present in a surrounding that looks quite rural? I see that a lot in amateur hunting videos. Looks more like "fun shoots" than fauna management. I am a hunter myself, but there are certain rules I live by. For instance, if there are just a few crows, rats, rabbits, hares or what have you, I leave them be because the are part of the natural surroundings. If they become a plague, I bring the population down to something that is on par with what it should be in nature. And don't use the "they're not native species" argument, because we (homo sapiens) aren't indigenous to most parts of the planet, but yet we are the biggest pests of them all.
There are lots of rabbits and in that particular filed is where the donkeys and horses reside, not really a problem until they put a good down a hole. We are also plagued with the corvids, they shit all in the animal feed. The pigeons are smashing the rape on the neighbouring field on the farm and the squirrels “arn’t native” , they’re the biggest problem of he lot, but I think I explained that in the video.
Thank you for sharing your hunt you nailed that rabbit real good
Excellent video and excellent shooting Andy 👍🏻
Lovely result with the Katran Andy.
Looks a really nice compact gun.
Atvb buddy👍🏻😀
Ha you got an Katran. Very good choice. Have the Katran( no prefix) the standard one. In 22 and fac in your place. Love it.
Great video and nice shooting Andy the rifle seems to be a fairly decent one and accurate. Cheers brother
Brilliant as always keep the videos coming

As usual , the best shooter on TH-cam ... Excellent stuff .. I'd miss the tree shooting standing unsupported , never mind hitting a pigeon ..
Andy don't you miss shooting springers? I miss you shooting a spriner. Great video once again bud. Also what hiking boots are they you have on.
Umm, somtimes, I still shoot them, they’re just a lot harder to film with
Haix they are called I think :)
Great video 👌 is that the cb version or the standard version, looking at buying one tomorrow and can't make up my mind on size 😂

Any update Andy as to if this rifle was a keeper?
How do you like the katran compared to your ratworks 100kt?
I was going to ask the same question
I really like my 100 mate 😅 it takes some beating 💯
Nice shots Andy. What is the permission? Are the squirrels etc used to people?👍👍
Nice video and great shooting as always bud. That looks a nice rifle also looks pricy tho lol. Been out with the the shotty at all? Hope alls well cheers

Keep the Rat Works HW100
Good shooting Andy do you eat the pigeons
Have you tried any of the AGT’s Andy?
No mate :)
Have you still got that gun
No mate, had to give it back
So you only pick one pigeon after saying your second pigeon dropped ? And is that gun FAC? if not why you shooting out at 50 plus?
No idea mate.
No it’s not FAC and I’m shooting past 50 yards because I can?…. 🤔

I think you had a wobble because the gun is too light. A great accurate gun.
I agree

I don't like rifles with those Tommy bottles stuck on the front.
I too prefer the look of cylinders but they certainly have their place ☺️

FFS Get a life
😂😂 you don’t know me do you…
you have a lot of movement when you squeeze the trigger very unlike you andy
You’re right, It’s much lighter than I’m used to, still trying to get to grips with it 😅
