I totally agree.I see this happening. Also in places like Dominican Republic and Mexico. This has been brewing before the pandemic. The unfortunate. Thing about lockout pricing is that everybody eats even the slum lord. Also causes crazy inflation for the everyday renter and shortage because the owners rather airbnb . No brainer if you can make 3x the monthly long term rent in only 14 days
This world wide inflatio and increasing of peoperty prices has nothing to do with America, but everything to do with covid and the war in ukrain. America wasnt the first to increase prices, it all happebed simultaneously because of gas and oil prices, which the countries who produce those are not in America. Good video though, keep it up
People don't know Accra is yet to develop go further and acquire land which is cheaper. Let say 1hr or more drive u will still be closer to Accra when it develops.
YOU SPEAKING SO MUCH FACTS HANNAH!!! IT WAS MY BIGGEST CONCERN....IN GHANA THEY SAY YOU BUY THE NAME OF THE LOCATION RATHER THAN THE VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY
In Ghana, nobody regulates the prices of items. It's the Makola Dream, everyone is caught up in buying and selling. Equally the gentrification of Accra has driven the prices of houses up. Lastly, developers are greedy and their targets are those in the diaspora and foreigners. The system also makes it easier for private developers than individuals wanting to build due to land litigation.
Great stuff, impressive...done your homework!
Thanks for sharing!

I will never buy a house in ghana for more than $100,000 i will rather use that money to acquire land and build my own mansion.
I hate all this inflation but this video was very educational

I also think there is a shortage in rentals and home purchases and personal building ....that is why they are expensive.....
