I was never aware that KoF had a tournament scene given that it's not well known in the USA first time I watched a tournament was EVO2012 for XIII. After searching youtube didn't find much tourneys nor people playing Hinako or when it was it was Mugen ~_~

Hinako is actually a commonly played character since she is very easy to use. She's really not that uncommon.

She's not Kasumi (who is generally regarded as one of the best characters in the game), but she definitely has representation.
