- Arishem has turned Marvel Snap into an entirely new game, because the card is absolutely everywhere, but that didn't stop me from trying him out in a High Evolutionary deck!

Power Estimate: I have no idea. I had a solid run with this deck, landing at 13-10, but it's still impossible to understand the new meta, because it's all Arishem and counters to Arishem. I don't think this way to play Arishem will be as good as Loki versions like the one I played in my previous video, but it still felt sneaky good and quite cohesive.

Regis I think your opponents snaps because you typically take long and not because they have the upper hand some of the time, I’m not complaining just a observation I appreciate that you explain your thought process.
@@sleezyimpalass To be fair, he's partially doing, like, a show, if he just played quickly and efficiently he wouldn't have content for the TH-cam. Given his level of popularity, I think most people must appreciate the amount of time he puts into explaining his plays.

@@thaddeusgenhelm8979oh no it's completely justified ofc. I think op is just noting that's why people do it. It's something I've noticed people do to me, and heck, I do it too. If I'm playing against an obvious panther Zola deck, and end turn on t6, after like fifteen seconds, I'll undo end turn and snap bc if you had it there'd be no thinking. People assume when you hesitate you don't have the power to win, but a lot of the time you're just figuring out how to win lol

@@StarkMaximum I guess the fun part for me is having to figure out the synergies for the random cards, even though rare, when some nice synergies happen, and you figure out, it is so rewarding. But maybe that gets boring with time too, who knows?

For anyone wondering, high Evo doesn’t work twice. If you already have hulk in the deck and Arishem adds another one, it only works on one of them.

@@Undeniable18 one of the more memorable moments in the history of Hearthstone was when they created a new class for the first time. It was Demon Hunter and on release the class was so broken that you couldn't play anything else. It required intervention on a historic level for the devs.
This is a very clever combo that I probably wouldn't have thought of!

It is less power than darkhawk but since it is on reveal can't be countered by Blob
And it gives negative energy to their cards, which can buff HE abomination
at 19:30 you could've rogued the blob and become a blob yourself, just like the mystique, in the end the opponent played a darkhawk so it was the right play but you didn't even consider so probably you didn't know
ive been playing a long time and thought I knew a lot about the game but ive never considered mystique and rogue copying ALL abilities from a card with an ongoing effect -- including on reveals. kind of just tunnel visioned them copying the ongoing effect only, but obviously thats not how the card reads. might be because not many cards have both an ongoing and on reveal effect

Mystique copy’s blobs text becuase it has a ongoing ability which counters darkhawk and most other arishem decks
In my opinion it is broken that Mystique copies Blob’s on reveal and that should be fixed, should only copy the cannot be moved. Has anyone tested trying to move an absorbing man who copies Blob?
Side note, I think it is bs that if I run Luke cage and then a Biohazard, that if they disable Luke I take the damage. The on reveal already ran and was protected. In my opinion that should be fixed as well.
It would be like someone Enchantress on an Armor after you played Destroyer and then losing all cards at that location
@@ryanschaefer8407 idk who Biohazard is but if you're talking about Hazmat / Cage interaction that's literally just how ongoing effects work, if the effect is no longer ongoing then you receive debuffs.
@@ryanschaefer8407both Absorbing Man and Mystique specify that they copy the card text, not just the on reveal/ongoing. The effect doesn't even have to go off, simply as long as the last card you played was on reveal/ongoing they copy the text outright.
Same thing should happen to either if they were to be played after an Electro.
The wording is very intentional and specific for both cards. Pretty certain it's the intended interaction.
Also that Luke interaction is just how Ongoing and On Reveal power interactions work. Changing it so that he was Ongoing and reset permanent power changes would be a needlessly confusing exception to the rules, and making him On Reveal would just make him worse. Neither way makes sense.

I hit infinite 3 times in a row and realized that its wasted time and too much stress bc u only want that 500 gold at 90 but not the cardback (so its for me). Unless u want to hit top 100 on infinite but these are people who play the whole day lol
Wtf, 80 % of the games till infinite are 4/8 cubers against bots. I got infinite with series 1/2 ongoing deck the first month I was playin

How to counter Arishem?
Play RedH, Darkhawk armor cosmo and use them wisely.

Yeah i meet a lot of Cosmo - darkhawk - Mystique, so i can't play Enchantress and rogue at all, funnly enough i got both super Skrull and Mystique with arishem draw 😂

I tried using a similar HE Arishem deck. I found sunspot wasn’t impactful most games if you don’t draw him early. Ended up cutting him and infinaut, well I never used infinaut, for QuinJet and Red Hulk. Other than that the deck was identical. Pretty solid

idk man, but personally i think that Arishem is the best thing that could have happened to snap. i ve been having a ton of fun playing with him, never felt like this ever since i started playing. and arishem mirrors are even funnier for me because of all the crazy stuff that can happen.
i know my opinion doesnt mean much since im not as competitive as most people usually are, but just wanted to say how much i love the card.
34:30 - he probably drew vision on the last turn, and it is already too late to put it mid at this point. Vision mid will get him 24 power, and then band of cyclops will get it -8, and dazzler is already -10.
Well, ofcourse if only you wouldn't disable cyclops power on the last turn, like you did. But opponent didn't knew that that arishem was your only play :D

@arrekushun It's because it's an ongoing and an on reveal card. There aren't that many in the games, so that's why that interaction happens

@@arrekushun A Rogue will not steal the other Blob's power but she will eat the deck if she triggers on Blob.

I’ve been playing arishem thanos Agatha and high evolutionary in the same deck and it’s mental, also wins a lot more than you’d think. High evolutionary hasn’t seemed to be much use tho

At 20:24 not sure if you know this, but if you rouge blob or a mystique that took blobs ability rouge also powers up
I'm playing an Arishem/Agatha deck and doing really well.
I learned this week you can mystique blob. You can follow blob up with abs man or mystique, and arishem gives you enough cards to easily blob 3x.
With 7 energy, you can drop 2 blobs on turn 6. It's obscene

When did the update high evo interacting with the randomly added Arishem cards? I have been using a similar deck for two days and the interactions were not working for me or opponents?
I’m not doing well with Arishem so far. I have a hard time finding the lines, often. I should practice more, but at the moment I’m doing pretty well with a Cannonball clog deck.
I always wondered, how do you enable the deck view? I couldn't find it ither on PC or on mobile.

Arishem to me is a test to see if Marvel Snap needs more than 12 card decks. The simple answer is yes. 12 made the game stale and very hard to justify swapping cards.

Regis, really enjoyed your video! While I agree Arishem is a great addition, playing on the Asia server right now, every deck I face seems to be running Darkhawk, Shang-Chi, etc. It's a fun game overall, but this anti-Arishem focus can get a bit repetitive and takes away from the enjoyment sometimes. Is this a common experience on the Asia server, or just my luck?
I replaced infinaut with Darkhawk and it got me my first ever Infinity Conquest completion
I had to comment, my Arishem luck is that I put Angel and M'baku in my deck and I got them both in opening hand.

I don’t think the visions would have beaten the cyclops’ in the final round.
They were down -10 to your 16, so they needed 26 power. If you’d floated the last game (which they would assume you’d do) they would’ve also lost 8 power there. So they actually needed 34 power.
3 visions wouldn’t have been enough, since they’d only add 24 power.

A huge advantage is that the enemy doesn't know, can't guess what deck you have
We should be able to choose the card at the spotlight cache one time. And then the next can be random.
That would break their monetization system but probably the second or just use two keys to choose, something along those lines

You just gotta run Shang chi, enchantress, echo etc. also juggernaut can move the big dark hawk to somewhere they’re already winning or leader can just match it

Arishem just hinders my Mill deck, I've been able to get wins against it but I depends on if I can clog their lanes.

@UNKNOWN-fq2xj Yeah mystique states " if last card is ongoing copy its text" that means she copies the entire text which includes both ongoing and on reveal, same is the case with mystiquing Electro's effect you will get both the effects, Since blob and electro are the only cards in snap I think with both reveal and ongoing abilities , this wasn't showcased a lot before so I understand why a lot of folks are confused about it, same is also the case when you rogue blob and electro btw.
