Heh Everybody...I Live in NYC for 31 years(AND LOVE IT) and am an ORIGINAL JERSEY BOY... But let me tell you... there is NOTHING better than STAR TAVERN PIZZA and I Know Pizza I am 175 Lbs and when I eat Star Tavern I eat 3 enitre pies....Jersey Girls are the best... down to earth and Gorgeous!! Having JUST moved to Arizona a few months ago this made me feel a trillion times more homesick than I already was. Miss NJ more than words can describe and will probably be moving back. NJ culture....there's no other place on earth like it!!

Love it cause I'm a Jersey Girl. Missed a few areas....Sky Lands, Jersey tomatos, farm lands, cranberries, blueberries, horsefarms, Sussex State Fair, etc., For a small state, we have it all! Thanks for the memories....

clifton. Now i now live in northern Minnesota, but home is always new jersey!
It's been almost 30 years since I called Hoboken my 2nd home. Spent a year in the shipyard there while in the Navy. Molfetta's Pizza was great! Spent a lot of time in Iselin, Woodbridge, Colonia, Jersey City. My favorite diner, the Luna Bell, is now gone. Also liked the Bendix Diner in Hasbrouck Heights. Nothing like driving across the Pulaski Skyway at sunrise. And of course, the Jersey Girls!!

Love this video. Moved to Maine but lived in Hackettstown for 10 years. My dad built the Golden Skillet. So glad to see it's still there. Sure miss New Jersey.

I used to live in New Jersey ( Jersey City and Montvale) and went to Stevens. You only realize how good it is once u leave the place.
Fantastic job Paul! The memories this clip brings back to mind. Physically left 25 yrs, ago, but my spirit remains at the Jersey Shore. California beaches are nice enough, but the Jersey Shore was, and still is, an experience. No place like it anywhere. Like so many of the others who have written, I'd like to see a Part Two.
Thanks for responding Paul. Yes I love the 60, 70 & 80's. It brought back so many memories of places that I use to hang out at. I will check out your CD. I never left NJ, I will probably always be a resident here. I had to watch your video a few times since it was quite fast and it was hard to catch everything!

This born & raised Jersey girl (living on the west coast of Fl. for 10 yrs now)enjoyed...BUT,you can keep the nasty long winters & the crowds, the traffic & the " tude' ". Will totally admit I really miss "the shore" (who's goin' down ???" lol) the delishious tomatoes and the beautiful countryside in north Jersey.Florida is awsome, but once a Jersey girl, always a Jersey girl !!!

Spent some of my American Bandstand days in New Jersey.....going to Holy Cross High School and waiting out on the highway with my hatbox full of my Bandstand clothes to go to Philly & 46th & Market Streets.
The bus driver would do a double take - changed from the Holy Cross gray and white uniform in the back of the box to my "cool" Bandstand clothes and danced the rest of the day away! Bunny Gibson 59-61

Yes, one of the lead guitar players on "My Home New Jersey" is Joe Formato who grew up in Newark,and "yes" he did tour with Meatloaf in the 70's. Also on lead guitar is Mike Decker who also grew up in Newark play's a more blues style guitar. Both of them played on my two albums. The first being The Saved Recordings, and my new album titled Young and Free. You can hear more of thier great guitar playing by going to itunes, C D baby, or Amazon and listen to the song samples. @TheDonna521 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I was watching the Blues Bros. a couple years ago and they sang the song Sweet Home Chicago. I thought it was great to have a song about a place that you really loved. I started to think about all the places in New Jersey that I enjoy so much and came up with "MY HOME NEW JERSEY". I wrote a song 35 years ago that's on my album titled The Saved Recordings called Back in N.J.. It was about a girl I knew who had been away from Jersey and came back.
Ha - How can I not love this song and video because as I was enjoying it, I happened to notice a clip of my Fire Department (Whippany Fire Dept.) marching in the Morristown St Patties Day parade and I'm showing off my sexy legs in my kilt proudly holding Old Glory. Jersey is a hidden gem in rough and I'm proud to be born and raised here and this is a great song/video that will certainly make my fellow Jerseyan's smile!!!
@jimhalifko Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments on the video. I know there were so many places left out ,but the song is only four minutes long. Not nearly enough time to get in all the great places in Jersey.Having to take almost all the photo's and video myself was a time consuming task. The editing took a long time too.I'm hoping some radio stations will play the song. Maybe some fans of the song can call their local station and ask them to play it. Thanks Paul.

I hope you don't mind that I shared this on my FB page. I was born and raised in NJ (lived in various towns in Atlantic County), and I miss the cheese-steak subs, Italian subs, and mom-and-pop pizzerias. I live in California now, and we don't have any of that stuff out here that's worth a darn.
