Truth is this applies to everything across the board. All things in every career and genre went specialty in the late 80s. It’s never been sAme since. ❤️
This ladies and gentlemen is REAL talent. Beautiful women dancing in high heels, men fit, all dancing together in step. Rita Hayworth, Fred Astair, Gene Kelly. The energy, the grace, the showmanship. Not performer alive today can hold a candle to these stars.
Wow! What a fantastic video compilation of fine dancing by many fine actors and actresses. And to find each dance movement of many old classic movies to synch with the rhythm of the overlayed background music of the 1970s Bee Gees' Staying Alive is superb. Absolutely superb! I thank you wholeheartedly for sharing this fine upload. I love it. And all the marvelous fine dancers of the vintage era. Brilliantly done well. ❤️❤️❤️🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃💇♀️
The synchronization of the music with the dancing is fantastic! Whoever put this together should get an award. Rita was just a Goddess of Dancing, just perfection.
Whenever I watch Rita Hayworth dance she looks like she's having the time of her life. Truly one of a kind; the likes of which we'll probably never see again.
My grandfather was a camera man on several of these films she made and he said she was more breathtaking in person than she was even on a big screen. He said men used to stop breathing, literally, when she would walk too close to them. In my opinion she makes the fabled Marilyn Monroe look like a tomboy in skirts. Rita and Hedy Lamar may have been the two most beautiful and talented women in their generation, and Lamar was smart as hell, too.
Perhaps not only just Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees), but new generations falling in love with this beautiful Woman with whome we get to know with your valiant effort to capture her elegance and beauty! I enjoyed watching her because she captures what I imagine it must have felt like in a world where there is little left but for the hope that must endure during war time. Excellent synchronicity to the vibe of the Bee Gees as well. Great work!
Whoever put these film clips together did a BRILLIANT job. Rita matches the Bee Gees song so well you'd think she was actually dancing to it. Such a beautiful woman, excellent dancer and fine actress.
WOW!!!! Whoever created this clip has got to be a genius. I've done my fair share of video editing, and this was a huge effort. Sourcing all of the clips and syncing them to the music is phenomenal. Thank you for sharing.
Whoever put this little Diddy together should get the biggest award ever given! Dance steps from 70, 80 year old movies timed to music from another generation! Absolutely brilliant!
What an awesome talent. Sorry I missed her great days but wow could she dance and just a pleasure to watch doing it. To the person that put this together....just fantastic work.
What strikes me the most, after the beauty, enthusiasm, grace etc. is the sheer joy she expresses in her dancing. She's obviously enjoying dancing and enjoying dancing for us... Oh, we need more joy.
I would like to claim .. "I'm Rita's biggest fan" .. But there's a million people out there ahead of me .. But I can say this, I've seen every one of her movies... and I love this video. Great job. !!!
Love this video of the beautiful Rita Hayworth especially the three small clips of her with Sinatra. You can tell by the expression on his face he's thoroughly enjoying sharing the stage with her
Unlike most stars who boringly insist on always being front and centre of every scene (I'm looking at you, Tom Hanks), Sinatra was quite self-effacing, eg in The Manchurian Candidate, From Here To Eternity or Guys And Dolls. In fact in Guys (on the Sit Down You're Rockin The Boat number) he's occasionally completely obscured by the other singers.
Wow! Rita Hayworth was one of the most beautiful and talented women, ever. Love the flared shorts! Great editing and synchronizing. Thanks so much for this fun video. Makes a person happy, doesn't it?
Somebody spent serious time putting this incredible video together. Hayworth was truly one of the most beautiful women ever to appear on the silver screen. Very talented, too. Watch "Gilda" if you get the chance. Ford and Hayworth at the top of their game. Where have all the flowers gone...……..
I have to agree ! She kept right up with Astaire who at the time was regarded as the greatest dancer in the World. She had a ridiculously beautiful body, and gorgeous face and seductive flaming Red hair (although dyed) so what She had no equal , you're right.
Pretty? No Beautiful. Intelligent Yes, Great Dancer ? anyone who could kept up with Astaire was Great, She could sing not Great but she didn't have to sing great. Rita Hayworth was the BEST ! she had no equal.
NEVER EVER HAVE I EVER~ Ive been a fan of this genre for years now and I am totally blown away!!! The editing is sheer perfection. Virtually if not literally every single footfall and move is cut to sync with the music as though it was in its original form. BRAVO! Thank you!
An absolute master piece of video editing, research, and synchronisation. Thank you so much for your time and effort putting this together. I sincerely hope you are proud; you should be! All the best to you and yours.
Absolutely fabulous! The timing, the moves, the editing, the synching, the overall perfect package! Thanx so much for your time and trouble! Thanx so much for sharing! What a joy to watch!
She danced with other great male dancers - great physicality and stage craft. And she kept up and did it all backwards in heels and a dress! - what a dame! (and smokin' hot with it!)
WOW! THANK YOU for this video. They say everyone out there has a doppelganger twin of themselves. I can honestly say that Rita Hayworth was my mother's twin! It is absolutely spooky to look at her pictures and not freak out a bit. My Dad used to say she was so easy to mistake her for Hayworth that people would ask for her autograph and not believe it was not her when she told them. Plus my mother was a gifted ballroom dancer. She unfortunately got MS when there was no treatment and ended up paralyzed. Another sad ending just like Ms Hayworth's loss to Alzheimer's. How she looked at all stages of her life, always in spike-high heels and stunningly dressed, really mirrored Rita Hayworth. When I miss my mother now that she passed in 1989, all I have to do is look at Rita Hayworth and my mother's pictures and it comforts my heart. May they both "Dance IN Peace"...I love you Momma
Whoevert put this together is a sheer genius ! At 1:45 when the screm comes in, it is flawless. Rita also knew she was the best and she danced flawlessly. The effortless and flawless dancing came from a woman who definately knew what she was doing! A spirit in motion.
That's Because you are a Wise Man. I came of age during the 80' and if I could live in any Decade for all of Eternity it would be the 80's ..BUT, MIss Hayworth and Mr. Astaire would Have to join me.
She is graceful but what I love is her smile. Sometimes it looks like she don't follow through her moves but she is having fun like any girl would be having at a dance. It's that quality that makes you love her and for me, I put her way above Marlyn Monroe.
Their legs were perfectly 'matched' in length so the line was beautiful and they were able to synch movements. Same with Cyd Charise, who I believe he finally did admit was his favorite partner.
Rita Hayworth was a stunningly good looking woman, but her beauty increased by orders of magnitude when her unalloyed joy and happiness shone through in her dance routines. What a ray of light she was.
Absolutely breath-taking 😍😍 Such a gorgeous lady 💖and can she dance, wow👏👏the person who edited the scenes to create this video is a brilliant person 👏👏 I think i will be hunting for Rita Hayworth's films now to watch this magical and gifted lady. She is listed as one of the top 25 female stars of motion pictures. Nobody can deny that💖💖💖💖🌷🌷
When I watch this video , She never stops smiling. She is matching Fred dance step by dance step and she is having a ball. She was a beautiful, talented , and last but not least, total class.
The term 'screen goddess' is often used to describe actresses from that period. But Rita Hayworth was the only one who ever fitted that title. A stunning performer in every way.
Whoever choreographed this song with the video is an absolute GENIUS. The dance moves are so spot on with the music. You did a fabulous job indeed. You killed it. I absolutely adore Rita Hayworth. She's one of the most hottest gingers of all time. She's delicious and talented. You rock! Baybeee! Whooyah!
Flawless synchronization with the right ' dream girl ' and the perfect beat, does justice to the multiple skills of a talented beauty in all her splendor.
Those were the days my friend. we’d thought they’d never end. Oh yes those were the days. And now so sad to see all of that has faded away. Thanks for giving us a trip down memory lane
Good Gracious, who is the absolute genius that put this song and film together? Take a bow maestro, you deserve my respect of your abilities. Amazing, absolutely wonderful.
I've watched this countless times. Always I discover something new, synchronization I hadn't noticed before. Man, you are tremendously hard working and talented. A thousand thanks!
Beautiful! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL1. with Fred Astair as well. Editing was PERFECT! Gr8 job! Good music, great dancing and a gr8 & beautiful woman - Rita Haytworth! thank you for a beatiful way to start my day!
Rita = beauty, brains and talent both acting and dancing. Red hot all rounder. What a joyous video set to one of the greatest dance tracks of all time. Thanks.
As Ann Richards, former governor of Texas, once said: "The women did everything the men did, but in high heels and backwards." Very, very nice video - well edited and smooth.
What an amazing dancer and so beautiful too, together with Fred Astair they danced perfectly, could watch her all day, a mesmerizing beutiful woman RIP
I love seeing these old clips, re-used so beautifully!, a chance to remind us of the hugely dedicated talent that worked in motion pictures, once upon a time.
OMG--I rarely post--if ever--but this clip is another digital miracle. Is it any wonder Andy Dufresne wanted to sneak Rita through the back doors of Shawshank? The best editing occurs in the footage clipped from PAL JOEY: Rita snaps her gown's "train" and the cymbal crashes in perfect unison--PERFECTION! Rita's shoulder gyrations from PJ also match the percussion in "Stayin' Alive." HOW MANY HOURS DID THIS ENTIRE PROJECT TAKE? This is what a "labor of love" looks like. Your tribute brought me to tears, and I thank you!
Sometimes you wish the old movie stars could come back and see how much they are appreciated by this generation and put their dance to a new kind of music.
What a great video. I have always been a fan of 1940's women Actresses & singers even though all of those beautiful women were old enough to be my mother. They appeared to me to have much more class & style than today's Actresses.
Back in the day, you had to do it all. Sing, dance, comedy, drama. This level of talent is unmatched today.
Fred astaire even composed songs
Rita had talent
No one like her before, since,or ever will be like RITA !
But if you can make crasp remarks about every body orifice, then you are number 1.
I know life was better in the 50s-70s.
Really unbelievable. SUBERB, METICULOUS, DEDICATED WORK.
Absolutely
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎁
@@foresttemple1380 yeah "they don't make 'em like they used too?
Yep, they've got more talent than anyone today.
Wow! What a fantastic video compilation of fine dancing by many fine actors and actresses. And to find each dance movement of many old classic movies to synch with the rhythm of the overlayed background music of the 1970s Bee Gees' Staying Alive is superb. Absolutely superb!

Rita was sooo talented. She should have been featured more.
Rita Hayworth is also one of those stars that lights up the screen naturally. A great performer and a great beauty and full of charm.
If you’ve seen Shawshank redemption, when Andy wants a poster he wants Rita not Marilyn. Just sayin
Rita and Marilyn. Both beautiful and talented women. I don't agree with your assessment of Marilyn, bro.
Ах,Рита,умница, красавица!Очень талантливая была!К сожалению,таких сейчас в кино больше нет.
Браво,Рита!!!
Every one of these dancers was bursting with talent. The golden age of entertainment.
Whoever put this little Diddy together should get the biggest award ever given! Dance steps from 70, 80 year old movies timed to music from another generation! Absolutely brilliant!
Rita had it all! Pure beauty, sensuality, dancing talent, singing talent, acting!! No wonder she was known as a Goddess!!
What an awesome talent. Sorry I missed her great days but wow could she dance and just a pleasure to watch doing it. To the person that put this together....just fantastic work.
Some people are born with everything. Hayworth had it all: beauty, brains, great singer and dancer as well as actress. She had it all. Great video.
I agree with all but the singing. Most of her singing was dubbed..
I can’t get over the genius of the editors of these types of video clips. I absolutely am in awe and grateful.
Great job. !!!
Well done whoever put this clip together. These mash up clips always make me smile
Man, that smile! Astare said that Rita was his favorite dance partner. I can understand why. Always pure class!!
A very beautiful woman that, somehow, became even more so when she danced. The joy on her face is amazing, especially when dancing with Fred Astaire.
Fred Astaire actually preferred Rita to Ginger because Rita added excitement to the choreography! It was a tough question for him to answer!
She floats like an angel. Fred was technical and led but let his partner shine. Both amazing.
The timing of the dance moves to the music is sensational !
One of the most Beautiful. Talented but underrated. Yet 1 movie made her an Icon. In 300 yrs time people know who GILDA was. For ever Rita Hayworth ❤🌹
Love this video of the beautiful Rita Hayworth especially the three small clips of her with Sinatra. You can tell by the expression on his face he's thoroughly enjoying sharing the stage with her

In fact in Guys (on the Sit Down You're Rockin The Boat number) he's occasionally completely obscured by the other singers.
I love her, but the short hair with Sinatra. Nooo.
Great compilation and tribute to a great lady and superb dancer!
What an amazing. lady! Not only is she the most beautiful woman, ever,, but she was so super talented. So fun to see this. Thank you! Well done!
Don't know of anybody else who can dance like Rita Hayworth and Fred Astaire. Fantastic video.
Brilliant posting….thank you for helping to keep Rita in today’s consciousness….
How lovely she was! Awesome video, great song, impeccable timing, and matching of clips.
She just floats ! Never misses a beat. The part I love about Rita is does it all with a beautiful smile. She gave a new meaning to the word class!!!!
Wow! Rita Hayworth was one of the most beautiful and talented women, ever. Love the flared shorts! Great editing and synchronizing. Thanks so much for this fun video. Makes a person happy, doesn't it?

Rita Hayworth Is One of The MOST BEAUTIFUL & TALENTED Actresses & Dancers Ever!
Rita Hayworth is the greatest silver screen Goddess of all time. Gone, but unforgettable. Nice compilation!
Rita Hayworth has no equal
Simply fabulous! Rip rita.hayworth
Rita. WOW!
I have to agree ! She kept right up with Astaire who at the time was regarded as the greatest dancer in the World. She had a ridiculously beautiful body, and gorgeous face and seductive flaming Red hair (although dyed) so what She had no equal , you're right.
she is alive . she cant die
She was the complete "package" --- pretty, intelligent, great dancer, great actress, great singer ... great everything. Those were the golden years!
Pretty? No Beautiful. Intelligent Yes, Great Dancer ? anyone who could kept up with Astaire was Great, She could sing not Great but she didn't have to sing great. Rita Hayworth was the BEST ! she had no equal.
Wonderful synchronization, and so nice to see the dreamy, beautiful Rita Hayworth struttin' her stuff!
I have watched this at least 3 dozen times and never get tired of it. In my next life I want to be the second Rita Hayworth.
Quite a few gentlemen would rather be Rita Hayworth's love interest.
NEVER EVER HAVE I EVER~ Ive been a fan of this genre for years now and I am totally blown away!!! The editing is sheer perfection. Virtually if not literally every single footfall and move is cut to sync with the music as though it was in its original form. BRAVO! Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous!

Absolutely gorgeous lady. How times have changed, that's what a real woman looks like.
Now we have Lady ga ga!
Great music combination to uninmitable talents, golden age of dancing! Respect 🙏🏻🌹
This was talent... They could sing, dance AND act. Dynamite talent.
If ever there was a feel good video, this is it. It's mesmerizing.
Whoevert put this together is a sheer genius ! At 1:45 when the screm comes in, it is flawless. Rita also knew she was the best and she danced flawlessly. The effortless and flawless dancing came from a woman who definately knew what she was doing! A spirit in motion.
Fred Astaire was quoted as saying Rita Hayworth was one of the most graceful dancers he had ever Danced with! I would agree with Fred!
That's Because you are a Wise Man.
I came of age during the 80' and if I could live in any Decade for all of Eternity it would be the 80's ..BUT,

I'd forgotten how lovely she was, this is a great refresher.
One of the most mesmerizing and compelling dancers of all time. She commanded your attention. She was the epitome of what it was to be lovely.
Rita Hayworth was a stunningly good looking woman, but her beauty increased by orders of magnitude when her unalloyed joy and happiness shone through in her dance routines. What a ray of light she was.
Good job.! I'm 73 but this was my parents generation and I remember how amazing those dance shows were!
It's incredible how one person could have so much talent ,Beautiful.
Whoever put this together is a genius. Best dancers ever, MJ and RH
Rita was so amazing and full of talent!
She did the Hollywood gig
her own way ✌️☮️❤️
Absolutely breath-taking 😍😍 Such a gorgeous lady 💖and can she dance, wow👏👏the person who edited the scenes to create this video is a brilliant person 👏👏
I think i will be hunting for Rita Hayworth's films now to watch this magical and gifted lady. She is listed as one of the top 25 female stars of motion pictures. Nobody can deny that💖💖💖💖🌷🌷
@SooooWhat? She is such a beautiful lady. She seems so fluid in her dance movements. A joy to watch her dances 🌷🙏
Absolutely agree - what an icon
Marilyn Monroe .beautiful but could not dance like Rita Hayworth
Whoever choreographed this song with the video is an absolute GENIUS. The dance moves are so spot on with the music. You did a fabulous job indeed. You killed it.
I absolutely adore Rita Hayworth. She's one of the most hottest gingers of all time. She's delicious and talented. You rock! Baybeee! Whooyah!
I second that emotion. Thanks for the informed comment, Rick Bailey. Just left one of my own.
Flawless synchronization with the right ' dream girl ' and the perfect beat, does justice to the multiple skills of a talented beauty in all her splendor.
She was such joy and pure energy, brings tears to the eyes...what a pleasure to watch! Amazing editing, spot on!
Those were the days my friend. we’d thought they’d never end. Oh yes those were the days. And now so sad to see all of that has faded away. Thanks for giving us a trip down memory lane
The timing of these clips with the beat of the music is insanely good whoahhh
A lifetime of practice, the gift of skill and the joy of beauty.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Brilliant! Just brilliant! Rita was always happiest when she was dancing.
Fabulous editing. This never gets old.
Good Gracious, who is the absolute genius that put this song and film together? Take a bow maestro, you deserve my respect of your abilities. Amazing, absolutely wonderful.
Yes CCC would love to know who is the artist /editor... they deserve an award 🏆!
GENIUS
Left me awestruck! excellent work! Thank you!
That footwork is absolutely incredible. Just cannot imagine how much practice that must take. Rita was lovely.❤
Unbelievable job. Reminds me of my mom who was a June Taylor dancer. Rita Hayworth is DELICIOUS!!
I've watched this countless times. Always I discover something new, synchronization I hadn't noticed before. Man, you are tremendously hard working and talented. A thousand thanks!
True, every time you catch how the moves and note plus gesture is perfect.
Love watching this charming lady.
Excellent Rita. R.I.P.
Attributed to everyone from Ginger Rogers (didn't) to Gloria Steinem (more likely), but it's a great line.
Just a perfect combination of talent, dancing, music and editing. You deserve an award just fitting it all together.
What an amazing dancer and so beautiful too, together with Fred Astair they danced perfectly, could watch her all day, a mesmerizing beutiful woman RIP
So talented and very beautiful. Watched all the old movies, musicals and westerns in our house, great memories.
Thank you for sharing with us these wonderful memories. This what dancing in exquisiteness is.
I love seeing these old clips, re-used so beautifully!, a chance to remind us of the hugely dedicated talent that worked in motion pictures, once upon a time.
What an amazing talent she was. And thank you for producing this remarkable amazing video.
She is fantastic! It is only recently I have come appreciate how wonderful the was. Thank you so much for putting this out.
This is OSCAR level editing , 100 % !
Great therapy for the Lock Down Blues Rita with Fred is just poetry in motion. Stay Safe everyone
You Too !!
Stay Alive!!
Brilliant! Her great skills and beauty choreographed with stayin' alive . Loved it. The glory of yester year
She's stunning. RIP, luv, you're an inspiration to women in 2022. Live on, queen.
Whoever put this together is a genius.
Spectacular synchronization. Love this vibrant, high-energy video. Thanks!
Some very clever editing, a pleasure to watch. She was sensational.
The ease and naturalness of her dance moves is still uncontested.
I totally agree with you ! Cheers Eddie
Beautifully put together. A major accomplishment. Thank you!
Class. Sheer class. This has been on my favourites lists for a few years.
As a lover of dance these are the movies that I miss today and so enjoy being able to find them here and share with others....
Top notch production, brilliant dancing 🎉
Sometimes you wish the old movie stars could come back and see how much they are appreciated by this generation and put their dance to a new kind of music.
What a great video. I have always been a fan of 1940's women Actresses & singers even though all of those beautiful women were old enough to be my mother. They appeared to me to have much more class & style than today's Actresses.
O yes, the Era I loved.
So true ❤❤❤❤❤😊
