Glad you like it! It was inspired primarily by Purple Motion's tune "Starshine" and was done purely for fun back in 1997. I did submit it to a few online music compos, though, and it got used in a 3D benchmark and some obscure demos.

When I heard this music, I imagined it being played to a battle scene between a futuristic Knight (not Earth, more like space kingdom) fighting a villain overlord from another galaxy. The Knight has a sword that is supposed to turn the tide of the war, but only if the knight proves his worth, and just as he is about to give his life trying, the sword activates, and gives him strength and power ^w^ 3:48 he levels up and the sword ignites, He-Man/Thundercat style

I actually burned this song to a cd along with a few others so i could listen to it on my cd walkman. Today, I was thinking about the song and decided to search TH-cam on a whim. Personally I was in Demoscene from the 90s, so it's only logical. It's a typical story. More rare when some young people find it and drop in love with it, so they go further and research and search for more. For me it's always there. I mean I still have contact with people from Demoscene and chiptune scene after all those years, while with people from school and universitites we are not in contact at all.
The pony thing you mentioned is probably a YTPMV of this song featuring My Little Pony samples called "Celestia's Fantasia" by AleatoireMixes. It's a classic.

That's a difference of 16 and you mentioned you were half your age when you wrote it putting you at 32. So you wrote this awesome masterpiece at 16??!! That is quite some epic talent, man! And don't say stuff like "they're cancerous, they have autism, they're gay!" because those insults are a result of your hate, not a cause. I want to know the real reasons. Also as a bonus wish, I hope I can get it: can we stay polite?
I was a former brony myself, and dear LORD, that fanbase was sad and cancerous at the same time. It's like they consistently have to shove ponies into every single thing that exists. Not only that, they seem to get offended at every minor criticism you have of the fandom or the show, even if it's not directed at them personally (which 90% of the time it usually isn't, unless you're dealing with the typical autist/faggot insults which are specifically meant to trigger someone). I know that this doesn't apply to every single brony, obviously, but my experiences in that fandom were enough to not only turn me away, but make me refuse to associate with bronies ever again. That being said, I'm not going to immediately insult someone just for enjoying something they like. As far as I'm concerned, that's none of my business. I just want to stay as far away from the fandom as I can, for my own sanity.

Because when one comes, another follows, and more and more of them flood into any area/page/site that has the slightest connection to them in any way. Then a huge amount of normal things are suppressed in that area/page/site and replaced with cringeworthy content when the source material has nothing or very little to do with them except maybe an adaption made by them, for them, and then they act like their version is the superior version when it never is. Thankfully, they're almost extinct at this point.

people like to insult things they don't understand. that's the best reason i can think of.
