Thanks for the heads up on Larry’s extension tabs! I have been waiting for somebody to start making and selling these. Now if we could just get some for the larger Coleman frames…
I got the spacers from the local hardware store and you can usually find the the axel bolts at the hardware store too but these are the ones that came on the bike that I’m reusing
Actually it doesn’t matter! If you know what your doing there should be no issue. Welding starting up or down makes no difference. When welding up you get more puddling and or more penetration yes but if you know what your doing you will achieve the same thing welding down. And tabs like these and a frame this thin it doesn’t matter. This frame and tabs are so thin we most definitely penetrated.

I used my dad and me myself and I haha! I don’t have a link it’s a 13in slick for a 6in rim
