Hey friends! Hope you find this video helpful. Please give me some feedback to make my content better:) 1. How do you find the speaking pace and what's your level? 2. Do you find the hand guestures and pics helpful, or it's too much? 3. What kind of topics would you like to see?
I feel like the level of difficulty was not consistent across the video. Other than that, great work! The video was pleasant to watch and new vocabulary easy to pick up.
1. I fast forward 2x for this video😊 2. Really helpful 3. Anything related to the real chinese life like a day in life or holiday or story telling or buying something.
Ive listened to 450 hours of mandarin input so far and I think videos with no subtitles and plenty of gestures/pictures are the most comprehensible. You achieved both criteria flawlessly. I subscribed instantly. Keep it up!
I also prefer videos with no hard subs so that you have a choice to turn if on or off. I find English and pinyin very distracting for listening practice so this is great!
I just found your channel and loved this video. Especially since I think at this level it's still helpful to have things acted out. That makes it more comprehensible than other resources I've come across at this level which is just people talking. Thanks!
Thank you so much for making this video. The coffee looks delicious and I really appreciate the effort you put into making the material understandable. This is wonderful! I am really enjoying your channel. ❤
Hello Jun Laoshi. Thank you for the wonderful Mandarin videos. I think the speaking pace is very appropriate. My level is that of a very beginner, but I like to listen to and watch the higher level videos just to get more exposure to higher-level Mandarin. I think your pace in this video was just fine. The hand gestures are helpful. I think the amount of gesturing is just fine; the gestures help to reinforce the concepts, especially when the subtitles are turned off! And the pictures are fun! I think they are helpful as well, and that they are also used in an appropriate amount. Personally, I would like to see a video on Chinese vocabulary and phrases related to exercise activities and working out!
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback!!! I’ve thinking of making a workout related video cuz I go to the gym almost everyday. But I feel very self conscious to film in the gym😆 I need to figure out a way lol
Hey laoshi, loving your videos so far. Speaking pace is perfect. I’m not sure my level in terms of HSK, but most intermediate to upper intermediate I understand 90%. Hand gestures, pics and 汉子 of less common words are perfect! Topic on dancing! As a salsa dancer, hard pressed to find a video talking about dancing in Chinese at this level (maybe a story on attending a dance class) 谢谢啊🙏
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! It’s so helpful! Dancing is an interesting topic. I did a little bit hiphop dancing and sole dancing before.😆 Let me see if I can think of a good idea on this topic:)
I find your lessons to be very practical and at a good level for most intermediate learnersl. Could you have some more videos with pinyin, chinese and english titles (3 in 1)? I find these to be helpful. Another thing that might be helpful is to have a 'keywords' list for each lesson, eg. condensed milk for the above video. I really do like your channel a lot and I hope you continue to make these fantastic videos.
Thank you for the feedback! It’s helpful to me:) I will update the subtitles soon. I’m still contemplating about the idea of putting keywords on the screen - I want the video to be as immersive as possible. I’m afraid the keywords will take you out of the immersion, and put you back into “study mode”.
Just found your video and its really good!! Keep posting please😆I watch tons of comprehensible imput videos and for this level sometimes it gets to difficult using a vocab to difficult, but with the gestures and images i can still follow along. Maybe you can even do some videos with a bit of a higher level but still using gestures and images
Yes just love your acted out and inset photos comprehensible input format. More please. The resultant drink was sort of amusing . I drink black no sugar mocha hu made coffee.
There is chinese script. So it's good for foreigner to understand.

Will do!
Thank you for acting things out a bit--it does help.
I just discovered your channel, you’re amazing.
Merci beaucoup.
Merci!!
Jun
Very beautiful and nice teacher come to srilanka to make a video ❤
Great Content, Candour and Creativity! Excellent production, but it seemed like the subtitles were off in some places.
Can you post the recipe... Or do a short with just the recipe?
Thanks for the reminder! Let me check out the subtitles:)
Subtitles fixed:)

P.S. where’s your “ super thanks “ option
I’m not eligible yet. Not enough watch hours. But thank you for your support!
There are five ingredients to make your coffee but interestingly non of them contains real coffee :-) Anyway, I like your video very much!
Hahahaha, very true😂😂😂
Xiexie laoshi
Laoshi, u drink too much sugar and drinking coffee is supposed be enjoyed with less addition sugar, milk, etc...
Let’s face it. After all those ingredients it’s no longer coffee it’s dessert. Enjoy
@ Hahahaha, truuuue😂
Be careful! Cafe is not very good for health
