She gets her hair heat straightened every 2 to 3 weeks, and has no heat damage. Plus, she managed to grow out her here long enough to not even have the relaxed and colored ends, and it still long. Well, I'm sold. I'm gonna start heat training.

heat damage usually happens if your hair isn’t healthy (moisture to protein balance, tension damage, using HIGH heat too often, dead ends/split ends) if your hair is healthy and you’re gentle with your hair, you really won’t get heat damage unless u use high heat like everyday

I think what’s more important is watching how we talk about natural hair rather than how often it’s actually worn. Kids will like whatever they like but if people constantly make negative comments about their hair this is what drives them towards straight hair. Also teaching proper hair care

Omg! I need to be heat trained but still keep my natural curl’s just like this!!! I never really thought it could be possible.. what are some at home maintenance, tools and products that I can possibly use to do this? I have color treated 4C hair (and I live in Texas so the humidity is crazy with my natural hair)

I am natural and just made the decision to be a straight hair natural, but I live in Indiana and there aren't many stylist that focus on hair and scalp health. I have seborrheic dermatitis and I would love for you to do my hair! I'm embarrassed to have someone see my scalp in the state that it's in right now, but after seeing your video I am confident in your skills!

Hi I’m in Texas and I was wondering how do you decide when to use your titanium vs ceramic flat irons?
pretty sure ceramic is more of a safer version as the plates dont give that direct super hot heat, the titanium gets hot quick and can handle hotter tempetures.. dont quote me but i think its probably better to use titanium when you do silk presses and ceramic if your using heat more often and touching up

Is there a way to stop hair from reverting without heat damage???? I kind of want a little heat damage so my hair won’t revert during the summer time. I don’t care much for my curls I barely have curls. Mostly frizzy hair curls don’t stay for more than a day.

I have the same condition, and it’s horrible when my diet isn’t good. Mine will flare when I’m eating a lot of carbohydrates. I use T gel or cortisone ream for mine. I’ll be ordering this oil soon, and for my edges. I have a sewn in now, and braids are not good for my fin hair.
