Absolutely the most spectacular Figure Skating performance I have ever seen. Nothing has ever even come close. Incredible choreography to go with the music from the Bruce Lee movie. I still remember watching Elvis Stojko perform this live! Should have won the Gold, without a doubt. I will never forget it - haven't never seen it since I saw it live. What a thrill to watch it again!
Black SuperWoman You are so right. But in the end, he really won. Who can even them remember the Gold medal winner's performance? I don't think I can even remember any other performer's skate, at all. But this one lives forever. This performance of Elvis Stojko is one that shows us perfection and the beauty and joy of life! I will watch it everyday, and be thankful for all the work and sacrifices he made for us - those who get to watch it. Worth more than gold to me !! Thank you, Elvis :)
Oh I agree 1000%. There are certain programs so beautiful and so inspiring that you have to watch again. Midori Ito at Calgary is one. Rudi Galindo at San Diego is another. Why have I watched this 60 times and Urmanovs once or twice? In 2018 Savchenko/Massout won by a fraction of a point over the Chinese. I have watched their program over 100 times and the Chinese only once...when it aired live.
The quality of this is amazing for being 25 years old. Loved everything about this program. The music, the moves, everything golden (as it should have been).
Upscaled from the original 1035i broadcast. Yes, the Japanese had HDTV as early as the late 80s. Though the Frenchies had it too in the 1960s but 737i instead of 1035i.

They screwed him out of the Gold.

I have been looking for this for a while. Should have been gold all the way.

I love he incorporated martial arts as a theme in his movies and his outfit is similar to a black Chinese kungfu gi
I remember this. He was robbed. Now I have to go rematch Dragon.
The Best, ever!!!!!
