This is really excellent tasty recipe. South Indian and karnataka they make it differently. One is add soaked mung dal one teaspoon but powder it after soaking draining and allow it to dry and added. Another version is soak two table spoon of urad dal and grind it and add to the water before adding the rawa. We add red chilli break it half. So easily removed instead of green chilli. Them we just press it inside the hand and place and don't make it round. Karnataka I eat it at my friend's place but here it is no chilli but very tasty.

What is it eaten with?
You can drizzle some coconut oil and then have it with pickle, goda ravo (jaggery syrup), piyava gojju etc.
We never add it. Undi gets it's taste from plain udid methi,sasam phann

Putting the hole in undi before keeping in pedavan but nails have nail paints
