    That was very nice. The halation hack is the quickest, most effective I've seen so far

    Smart use of the tools, love that halation effect, I think that’s what really sells it.

    I think it'd be so helpful if you made a video talking about your camera set up (what type of lenses you use etc.) and yeah a Davinci Resolve tutorial would be dope.

    Dude thank you so much for this!!! I've been pulling my hair over how to get this effect on premiere and not have to jump to da vinci just for this effect. QUESTION: Speaking of frame rate what was your shutter speed and other in camera specs?

    • @lmm512
      @lmm512  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey sorry it took so long to get back to ya, thanks for asking, so I keep everything at 24fps, I accidentally used 30fps for something in this video and you can tell it’s a little off compared to the rest. That being said my camera also uses shutter angle instead of shutter speed but they are essentially the same thing. And I just looked up shutter angle for 24fps which is 180 degrees. I would suggest just googling your frame rate to find the ideal shutter speed or angle. Thanks!

      It would be nice if you could make a video like this using Davinci since I bet most people that have a BM camera are using Davinci. Thanks.

    Where can I find a viewfinder like that for the BMPCC OG. Seem difficult to find online where the OG is no longer manufactured.

    • @lmm512
      @lmm512  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for commenting! Yeah getting gear for the OG can be a chore with so many people switching to the 4K and so on. As far as the view finder goes this is what I ended up using: www.fullcompass.com/prod/265945-kinotehnik-lcdvfbm-viewfinder-enlarger-for-blackmagic-design-pocket-cinema-camera?dfw_tracker=36058-265945

    • @lmm512

      Hey you can use this on any style footage. If you were to use the LUT I suggested it has a rec709 and a Log version, you would just use accordingly. Hope this helps!

    • @lmm512
      @lmm512  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for asking, in the rig for this video I’m using a Pentax 50mm lens adapted to canon and then a micro 4/3 to canon adapter for the camera. I only used it because I could find one cheap, since there is a crop. I’d stick to micro 4/3 lenses, I have an olympus pancake lens too that’s great they just cost more than the old stuff hahah
