Not saying that wireless keyboards are bad but outside of the cleaner setup what are the benefits of a wireless keyboard? Wireless gaming mice I get since you remove cord limitations on something you move around alot but I don't see the point of wireless gaming keyboards (I am still getting the Deathstalker v2 though just the regular version)
@@Ultima64 If you don’t see the need for wireless keyboards then they are not for you. They are simply meant to not be in the way and cleaner like you said. I personally like that so I will be getting the wireless

@@Ultima64 one big added benefit is being able to switch between devices with a button rather than unplugging it and plugging it in into another machine.
I frequently work on 2-3 machines at a time at work and that would be an awesome feature
I found a “usb extender” at home a few months ago and had no clue what it was. UAC got the answers for the people.

If you're having trouble with wasd I used a Logitech G13 when I played. I never liked the idea that my thumb was basically only pressing spacebar. There's also the Azeron Cyborg.

Yeah, looks like Razer is directly targeting Logitech with this. I dig it.
unfortunately the Razer software is unstable and unreliable AF, the keyboard does not turn off automatically when pc is shut down.
Other than that i love they deathstalker .. but availability is practically non existent for any other version than the standard v2 pro

Wow this is a really nice keyboard. I will most likely buy it and use it as my main one. Currently I have a Logitech G915 and its good for the most part but those G Keys on the left handside annoy the hell out of me coz it pushes the entire keyboard to the right by a few centimetres, which means muscle memory for typing is always slightly skewed with the G915. Since the razor deathstalker v2 pro doesn't have any G Keys in the way, i'll be able to scoot it over to where its supposed to align with my typing position.
I never really thought to much about your average consumers products, as my budget is not average 🤭 but I do love this keyboard, not so much for gaming so I'll look for something similar for less money. Thanks for the video.

Hey does your unit have a weird shrilling noise next to the 2.4ghz Bluetooth switch? It's very audible when you select a Bluetooth connection. I wonder if I got a defective one =/. The range is incredible but that shrilling sound yeash.
So I tried a few of them (5) and they seem to have the same exact issue. It's like an electronic buzz noise. I think it was designed that way or the batch I got all 5 from are from the same batch. It might be a fan inside the keyboard maybe or something but it is definitely noticeable on all the units I bought.

It's the Synapse software that gets installed when you connect the keyboard. You need to connect the keyboard using USB first, then the app will identify the keyboard and you can set all kinds of things.
You can tell this guy is legitimately into tech with his typing form. Those wrists chilling on the desk, ouch.

How does this keyboard compare to the Logitech G915? I have the G915 and I love the keyboard. I got it over a year ago, almost 2 years at this point, but I'm not a big fan of Logitech's RGB software. I used a Razer Ornata Chroma before the G915 and I thought Razer Synapse was a superior piece of software. I had a Razer wireless keyboard for a day before getting the G915 because it was too loud for other people in the house. Another thing I don't like about the G915 is that it uses Micro USB instead of Type C. It's fine, but I'd much rather have one cable to use for my Switch Pro Controller, keyboard, and other accessories I have.
Does the backlight stay on for as long as you like? Because I know that Logitech mx keys do not, you have to get your hand to hover over the keyboard to keep it lit up. Does anyone know? Thank you in advance.

i have only ever used the original deathstalker since it had come out, anything else just did not feel right
250 dollars is insane for keyboard, this is really my dream stuff have all you could ever need from keyboard, but price... wtf half of my pc....
the only thing this is missing is macro keys like that are on the g915. i use them for work quite often and not sure if i would want to go for it for that reason. other than that i would totally go for it if it just had that option. would of considered the claymore but that doesnt have the BT option and that wouldnt work for me

This keyboard feels like a membrane keyboard while having optical switches, due to low profile keys. I returned all other razer keyboard and only kept this one.
Looks like it's just a G915 with a Razer logo on it lol, tho I kinda like it more cause of the all black aesthetic

Question for anyone who has this. Has anyone tried putting their ear next to the power button while the keyboard is on only to hear a buzzing/electrical sound? Wondering if this is normal. It's a very low noise, and noticeable during quiet hours if you lean in.

@@frostgodxlook up a video on deathadder v3 wired. It’s better than the wireless. I had both. Don’t need to charge it. Stable connection. And for that particular model it’s got a more solid contruction. The cable never changes anything for me anyway it’s literally not there when using the mouse.

I didn’t regret anything about my G915, until now. After 6 months, the key caps don’t look nearly as good as day one. And my last Razer keyboard (the black widow) the key caps still look brand new.

I went into Best Buy to check it out in person. They only had the linear version and I honestly thought it felt so cheap compared to the G915 tactile. Given that the latter was on sale, I decided to go with that instead. I feel like videos make it look a lot better than it is. It does have a few cooler features like usb-c and Bluetooth device switching. Also the secondary keys are lit which is a no brainer but not worth the full price IMO. The linear version feels awful.
