Liz, use the shivs only for the clickers, you can do the rest (runners) with your hands! Also when you are in a spot with a lot of infected, throw a bottle or brick and when they go to the spot then throw a Molotov. The fire takes some time, but it will kill them, so stay at a distance and hide! Also, you need shivs to open locked doors! Keep going, girl, you do it well!
Magic word Fart, Liz you're doing amazing! What I enjoy about watching you specifically play this is you get invested, especially after RDR2 to a game like this? Perfect for a VOD
1:20:11 when you're right in front of them as they are making that characteristic clicking sound, they can "see" you using echolocation. You should try to move to the side when approaching a clicker, such that you're not directly in front of them.
SECOND EPISODE AMAZING!! I also reacted like that when I first saw a clicker!! Ellie is such a mood WHY ARE THE CARTS SO LOUD!! When playing this I always thought that the enemies would hear them when moving them around Uh oh Liz has found the Molotovs.. Liz is about to bring FIRE!! Little tiny tip, always make sure you have med kits on you "Do you have any croissants? Espresso?" You crack me up Liz The cutscene of the sunset with Ellie and Joel is so bittersweet! I love seeing you get the hang of the combat and dealing with the enemies! Keep SLAYINGGG Liz!
Something else that the game doesn't tell you is that you can punch the glass on vending machines to get items inside. Some have snacks that are like mini health packs. But the glass breaking attracts infected too. You can use that or breaking windows to attract them and run around them.
Cart: Still enjoying your playthrough, and I rate it higher than most of those I've watched. One reason -- you're actually exploring. Don't stop doing that, and take your time. I doubt any of your viewers are going to mind. As you noticed TLOU is a survival game. Supplies are in short, uh, supply, and managing your resources is a skill you'll get better at as you play the game. The key to this, though, is actually having resources to manage. Try your second playthrough in Grounded difficulty and you'll see what I mean. Don't waste shivs on any enemies but clickers. In my previous post (Part 1) I mentioned they can save you from scripted insta-deaths. You discovered what that death was in Part 2. Clickers are one-shot killers. You can take them out with bullets. You can take them out with melee weapons. You aren't supposed to be able to take them out with fists. Yes, I know. You did. I think it was because you stunned it with a weapon attack, first (your stick broke). I've never seen anyone take out a clicker in unarmed melee before this, so ... well done? Don't push your luck, though.

Technically, the infected are not zombies. Zombies are dead people; the "Infected" are alive but controlled by the fungus, (which cordyceps actually does with arthropods in real life!)
I could give you some Tips but I watched you play and it did say stealth. I don't want to spoil nothing. I just realized your playing the remake on PS5 which has more options. Still the same as PS4 as the playthrough story.
I don't think I've ever - ever - heard anyone I've watched over the years saying they are good, or even okay, at stealth. Everyone has that excuse. It's just never fails.
Hey Liz. If you are planning on playing Fallout 4, it might be a good to wait until the next gen update comes out at the end of the month. Hopefully it will make it more stable. It's a great game but it's really buggy. Just remember to quick save a lot.
You don't need to worry about us judging you. You're doing fine. You're paying attention and learning. Just remember that any part of the game where you die 5 times, we've seen other people die 10 times.
I only played this game through once back in 2014, Its nice that I waited so long because it makes the experience feel fresh. I would also recommend Deus Ex Human Revolutions and Mankind Divided, Assassins Creed IV Black flag, and the Mass Effect series for their immersion, though Deus Ex has the edge in terms of ambience and content, I must have beaten it ten times and I still find new stuff I didnt know about.
I'm a huge TLOU fan I absolutely love both games Part 1 and Part 2 they are both masterpieces it's my favorite game series of all time. I always enjoy watching new people experience these games you are doing great. After you finish Part 1, be sure to play the DLC Left Behind you can find it on the main menu screen. It's also excellent and provides more context and insight to the main game and of Ellie. Afterwards play TLOU Part 2 PS5 Remastered... Their is also the HBO show which was an excellent adaptation, and Season 1 covers only the first game and the Left Behind DLC, so if you wanna watch it after finishing the first game you could. I love how you check in with the other NPC characters- one of a “what’s your status” vibe- I think that helps the content stay immersive not only to witness but to emotionally impactful! Can you imagine how rare vegan snacks would be in the apocalypse!? Maybe that's why you can't take them? 😲 (I know you were into the vegan chocolates before)
I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of your playthrough and if you developed more patience (for want of a better word) with stealth because you've been pretty good at combat so far, but seem to choose to start shooting when you still have many enemies left and will get swarmed and killed. I hope you loved the game! :)
Nice video and don't know if anyone said it or not but throwing a brick or a bottle at an enemy will stun them if you run towards them and press square you will 1 hit kill them unless it's a clicker so hope that helps.
Yea it can be quite helpful especially in chaotic gunfights, also shivs can be used to unlock some doors littered across the game each holding resources, ammo etc and well worth going after.
Fun fact: the first carts were used around 2- to 3000 BC. - I am amazed with how much better this version of the game looks. Sure, this is probably the 7th remaster but still. The ps4 version did not look this good.
i played this game until i met the first clickers, and i died enough that i quit playing sham cause it an Awesome game and love story upto my stop playing need to start back and finish it at least

It would be nice if they had bows in this game so you could make stealth kills from range.

Keep an eye on your ammo levels and preemptively reload your weapons before you're in a tough spot.
