This is a replacement Raised Letter horn for the Roundtag that had issues. #6058 has worn this horn for a little over a 1 1/2 years. The horn is a K5LAR5 RL.

@andrewsnjttrains75 Hey Andrew, I hope you are enjoying your week! Tomorrow I plan at railfanning at Ho-Ho-Kus. Do you happen to know what line 4502, 4101, & 4109 are and what cab cars they are with? Any interesting consists on the ML/BL & PJ? Thanks in advance!
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT Hi Zach! I sure am thanks so much, hope you are as well! Awesome and hoping the best for that! For today’s air quality, it is unfortunately unhealthy for sensitive groups, so take great care out there if you are to railfan today! On the Main and Bergen County Lines will be 4004, 4009 with odd number plates, 4502, 4504 and 4510. 4009 and 6070 to be on 1225/1278, 4502 is currently on 1115/1178 and then to 1271, X128, 1129 and X116. 4504 to be on 1171, 4510 to be on 1167/1128. As for 4109, she will be on the Pascack Valley Line. On the PJL, there are interesting stuff, with NJT power and NJT sets. 4024/6701 to be on 55, 4212/6035 on 1165/1180 and 65, 4217 on 51, 4559/6078 to be on 1269/1276 and 67. Saw that you noticed 4502 was with a rare 4 car MLV set via the heritage units app. The line mostly has 5 coaches out of the 4 total MLV sets. I also saw a move of NJT 4119 and 4552 recently on the Waldwick camera and that caught me by surprise
@andrewsnjttrains75 Thanks so much Andrew for all that info! It really helped out today! I got to see 4502 on 2 different train and got to see 6700 with its Unrestricted K5LA for the first time. I also got NS H55 today and PJL #61 gave me a SAAHC and had a double header with 4912 & 4100! I will be sure to give you and rebooted Jupiter a shoutout for helping me out today! Community post coming soon!
If you know when #6058 received a Unrestricted K5LA or how long it has had it for let me know in the comments below. Thanks! Edit: The horn is not a brand new horn. They jusy un-choked the one it had. So now its a normal Unrestricted RL K5LA. This was done when it was OOS earlier this year. Thanks to commenters for confirming this info!
This horn was recently installed this year, and was oos since around mid to late February. Also, 6060 and 7056 have unrestricted horns as well. As for NJT 4636, it is on the Midtown Direct with 7060, and anytime ;)
@@andrewsnjttrains75thank you for the information! I didn't know about 7056 being Unrestricted. Which other mutilevelals are Unrestricted that you know of? I think 7013 and a few other are Unrestricted?
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT Anytime! I see, and no worries! I believe 7022 is unrestricted, but not 100 percent sure. 7005 and 7023 for sure are unrestricted and the rest of the Multilevel fleet are restricted horns. However, coaches like 7002, 7010, 7011, 7016, 7017, 7019, 7028, 7032, 7038, 7047, 7048, 7051 and 7053 don’t have unrestricted horns, their horns are restricted but loud, because apparently are not like as loud as the ALP-46As :)
@aejupiter_ when you say choked horn it remind me of ALP-45A #4538 which used to have a really bad choke. I remember when it used to sound like it was dieing lol.

NJT needa start unrestricting the multilevel horns 😭
FR FR! So many of them are restricted with so few unrestricted (I assume less than 5). Especially since we lost #7004 :(
Very nice! That was a very very good one. My opinion I like 6000, 6009 & 6019. more then anything
Thanks and agreed! 6000 Is the OG
Nice catch man!

Reversed 5 bell on this one.
Interesting! I just rewatched the video after you reading your comment and know I noticed it. Thanks for pointing it out!
Just a normal raised letter without a choke.
Yep, I said new because it was previously choked, but that's for confirming!
No problem 🫡
Sounds good! Must’ve happened recently
It sure does sound good. I was told it happened when it was OOS not to long ago
