The problem with that is if it breaks off again after you spray the penetrating oil, it makes welding a lot more difficult. The oil interferes with the weld.
If you don't have the removal tool weld small socket on to the stub with an MMA through the hole in the middle of the socket it's the best way I've found if you don't have the removal tool
@@truck_diagnostic I got 99 7.3 with glow plug broken off and now has an extractor broken off in it. Tried welding a nut on about 7 times but really won’t weld to extractor. I think I’m going to get a carbide bit and drill the extractor before I get to the glow plug. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for this. it took me 8 cycles before i got mine out.
I think it works better welding a nut on, fill up center of nut, let it cool comes right out
Nice&informative blog i have already applied this idea on my engine and it really works thank you ...
Nice job. A touch of penetration fluid once you had the thread cracked would have helped a touch but I'm well impressed.

Perseverance is key 👌👌👌👍👍👍 with or without a removal kit 🤔!!!!
Yes anything is possible
Hola muy buen trabajo. donde estan ubicados
Good job sharing
Oh and a wobbly socket head will smooth out the misalignment of the bolt
Those sliding wrenches I dunno what you call them BTW might be better for the back and forth wiggling BTW

Maybe you get the glow plug tool extract...would be better instead of doing it your way. Work smart not hard.
