This is my favorite episode, mostly because we finally got to meet Ethari. I've been wanting to meet him since season 1. I just hope that he will realize that Runaan's flower isn't completely sunken yet. I also love the end credits picture of him doing Rayla's hair. Runaan and Ethari were basically Rayla's second parents and it's so cute seeing his interactions with Rayla.

But yeah, Rayla was put through the emotional ringer this episode. The councilman's name is Saleer, and he was certainly an interesting addition to the villain team. Especially since back in season 2, he was the first to oppose escalating the war against Xadia, against Virens wishes. And here he is in season 3, conspiring with Viren and Kasef to undermine Ezran. I'm curious as to what caused the change of heart, and what he has to gain from working with would be warmongers. If nothing else, he's an excellent example that you don't have to be a dark mage to be corrupt. That scene in the dungeon was one of many moments in season 3 that destroyed any sympathy I had for Viren. This probably wasn't the first time he's gas lit poor Soren and made the boy feel like an idiot. The fact that Claudia was willing to believe his lies over her own brothers word drives home how toxic his relationship with his children really is.
To be fair, it was a rather believable lie, as even Soren couldn't refute that Viren never explicitly told him to kill the princes, and Soren very well could've misunderstood something like that in a different situation.
I've read that the Sunfire Elf Queen's name is Khessa, and that the interpreter's name is Kazi and that they're non-binary (the interpreter, not the queen).

I don't really have anything against non binary (even though I don't understand why it exists as there is no social gender,only body gender and therefor is no real need for non binary as gender only describes what you got on you not how you are) but I have something against people shitting on others ,for saying "she" when they hear a female voice,see a suposedly female character and just talk about them how they were taught their whole life. But it makes a lot of sense since we see with Claudia that heavy use of dark magic does have some permanent effects. I'm still not sure how/why this butterfly came to Viren on its own in that scene, though ^^

The fire making the walls of Amaya's prison probably don't radiate heat more than a few inches so the air where she was sitting, along with her shackles, might just be room temperature.
Ghosting her wasn't really a "mistake", she DID abandon their mission, it was because she now had what she considered to be a more important mission, but there's no telling whether the other elves will agree with her on that, Runaan didn't seem to agree.
My question is why did the moon shadow elves just assume that Rayla abandoned the others . I mean Runaan's flower did not sink the same day as the others did. So why did they not assume that Rayla and Runaan escaped because they were better fighters then the others. I mean they could have assumed that and think " oh Runaan's flower sunk because he was injured and died.But know they did not think this. Man moon shadow elves are stupid.

I know that people bother you to watch the dragon prince more than the other shows. That is only because really want to see your expressions for the upcoming episodes, which will really shock you.
I'm not so sure about that. Everything he's done so far has indeed been in his quest to make humans the dominant species. Even teaming up with Aavaros was done not just for power but in order to use that power to manipulate others into following his goals once he found himself otherwise blocked. It's just that he's promoting humanity at the cost of everyone from Xadia and willing to go to any kind of extreme measures in order to make sure humanity wins.

Just to let you know without spoiling too much, you are going to like the next two episodes very much. Also I like to say something that I don’t think people have talked about but I could be wrong, after the ritual Amaya started panting (or whatever you call it I don’t know the right word) so it’s revealed that she does have a voice (in a way) which is kinda neat.
welll duuuh. She's deaf not mute =_= Being deaf means you can't hear stuff but you can still talk. The problem is.. if you've been deaf your whole life there is no way you can really say words because you've never heard someone speak..basically you have nothing to repeat and learn. I am guessing Amaya is really good at lip reading though since she understood perfectly what the elf was saying.
I think the practice of ghosting by the moon-shadow-elves, shows that they are a pretty spoiled and decadent society, that hasn´t suffered major conflicts in recent history. Reyla can still enter their society and can still act on them, they just don´t see her anymore. If they had a major rival, that rival could use banished moon-shadow-elves to kill all their leaders, without them seeing a thing. I do consider the elven societys interesting and plausible, but I do dislike them and hope that interaction with the weaker, but more capable human kingdoms will help break those outdated traditions^^ edit: also fuck the sunfire elf queen, she hurt my waifu!^^
Compucles Any physical contact breaks the spell temporarily for certain and I make the slightly logical assumption that knowing that any attack would break the ghosting in a similar way so that they can deal with the threat.

Maybe you can't just kill every one of them in broad daylight, but I don't see anything stopping you from stalking them, spying on them, stealing from them, kidnapping or murdering some singular members of their society (it is too late, once you have a knife in a major blood vessel). But most importantly you can do stuff like poisen their food and water, no one will notice. And once they are all dead or asleep, you can just take their entire settlements. Even if a few don't get poisened, their resistance would only be a flimsy shadow, of the defensive might, they would otherwise have. Or you can even slowly poisen them, by repeatedly adding small quantities of lead to their water. Just saying, they show remarkable trust towards those they banish XD
TheRedMooncorp I guess you never played D&D or read any of the more standard tails of invisibility? You take an action and you become momentary visible. Also, the animals seem to see them just fine and as we have understood from Ezan in his communications with the Phoenix they have low to moderate intelligence. And they like people that they live with. Also, remember they may not see you directly but they can see you in mirrors and reflections. Also it was stated that the elves have to choose to do this on an individual level - so who is to say that the illusionist of the nation are going to do this at all. If Laugune(sp) is any example they just do what they like and are able to trick other noon elves with there powers and this could protect their people. So there are MANY ways that the universe may make this either impossible or very highly unlikely. At the end of the day you are just postulating a fan theory. Unless the writers write otherwise this seems not to have been possible as Rayla never eve considers trying to interact with them by doing something as simple as putting a chair in front of them. There is no gas in your theory for me based on what was in the story. (Who knows maybe they will take it in that direction, but right now you are out of gas IMHO)
I'm pretty sure the writers had Prince Kasef's father be the one who was only injured by the attack so that Kasef doesn't cause his kingdom to completely fall apart. *SPOILER* ...especially once Kasef is killed off later in the season.

I can’t wait 😊 for season 4 of the dragon prince!!! However I’m concerned on what’s going to happen I know it’s a time skip but are the creators going to continue to use the same characters or are they going to do new ones? I’m totally confused

I'm not so sure about that. Everything he's done so far has indeed been in his quest to make humans the dominant species. Even teaming up with Aavaros was done not just for power but in order to use that power to manipulate others into following his goals once he found himself otherwise blocked. It's just that he's promoting humanity at the cost of everyone from Xadia and willing to go to any kind of extreme measures in order to make sure humanity wins.

Also I like to say something that I don’t think people have talked about but I could be wrong, after the ritual Amaya started panting (or whatever you call it I don’t know the right word) so it’s revealed that she does have a voice (in a way) which is kinda neat.
welll duuuh. She's deaf not mute =_= Being deaf means you can't hear stuff but you can still talk. The problem is.. if you've been deaf your whole life there is no way you can really say words because you've never heard someone speak..basically you have nothing to repeat and learn.
I am guessing Amaya is really good at lip reading though since she understood perfectly what the elf was saying.

I think the practice of ghosting by the moon-shadow-elves, shows that they are a pretty spoiled and decadent society, that hasn´t suffered major conflicts in recent history.
Reyla can still enter their society and can still act on them, they just don´t see her anymore.
If they had a major rival, that rival could use banished moon-shadow-elves to kill all their leaders, without them seeing a thing.
I do consider the elven societys interesting and plausible, but I do dislike them and hope that interaction with the weaker, but more capable human kingdoms will help break those outdated traditions^^

For that matter, a single ghosted Moonshadow Elf with a grudge could kill everyone in an act of revenge.

Compucles Any physical contact breaks the spell temporarily for certain and I make the slightly logical assumption that knowing that any attack would break the ghosting in a similar way so that they can deal with the threat.
@@LionlordEbonfire Well sure, but you can still enter every inch of their living quarters. Maybe you can't just kill every one of them in broad daylight, but I don't see anything stopping you from stalking them, spying on them, stealing from them, kidnapping or murdering some singular members of their society (it is too late, once you have a knife in a major blood vessel). But most importantly you can do stuff like poisen their food and water, no one will notice. And once they are all dead or asleep, you can just take their entire settlements. Even if a few don't get poisened, their resistance would only be a flimsy shadow, of the defensive might, they would otherwise have. Or you can even slowly poisen them, by repeatedly adding small quantities of lead to their water. Just saying, they show remarkable trust towards those they banish XD
TheRedMooncorp I guess you never played D&D or read any of the more standard tails of invisibility? You take an action and you become momentary visible. Also, the animals seem to see them just fine and as we have understood from Ezan in his communications with the Phoenix they have low to moderate intelligence. And they like people that they live with. Also, remember they may not see you directly but they can see you in mirrors and reflections. Also it was stated that the elves have to choose to do this on an individual level - so who is to say that the illusionist of the nation are going to do this at all. If Laugune(sp) is any example they just do what they like and are able to trick other noon elves with there powers and this could protect their people.
So there are MANY ways that the universe may make this either impossible or very highly unlikely. At the end of the day you are just postulating a fan theory. Unless the writers write otherwise this seems not to have been possible as Rayla never eve considers trying to interact with them by doing something as simple as putting a chair in front of them. There is no gas in your theory for me based on what was in the story.
(Who knows maybe they will take it in that direction, but right now you are out of gas IMHO)

I'm pretty sure the writers had Prince Kasef's father be the one who was only injured by the attack so that Kasef doesn't cause his kingdom to completely fall apart.
