I love how Nintendo casually drops the release date for Marvel vs Capcom collection as well as the newly announced Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and a new Castlevania Dominus collection
Nah, I have 200 Switch games already that I'd rather play than anything presented, apart from the Castlevania collection. Most of the games I have are new to me, never tried them before. It's not hard to recognize gameplay that's just not my thing... I know what I like.
Don’t sleep on the Plucky Squire and Neva from the Indies! Both have previewed to rave reception so far. Especially Plucky Squire for classic Zelda adjacent fans, seems like a great fit Also confirming the much asked for and rumored Trails in the Sky remake in a sizzle reel with no other context is WILD (it’s the beginning of the franchise, where the whole story starts, and Sky games are the only ones not on modern consoles)

Castlevania collection, capcom fighting collection 2, new atelier, new Rune Factory, Yakuza kiwami port, Trails in the sky remake, tales of graces remaster, release dates for DQ III and Suikoden remasters, this was an amazing partner showcase. Possibly the best.
Power stone 1 and 2 announcement was awesome. Pumped for castlevania, suikoden, and dq3. I thought pizza tower actually looked sick. Definitely want to check that out.
I appreciate that you can just admit a game isn't for you instead of passing judgement and being negative. That's what great about indies, they don't have to be for everyone and can cater to their niche audiences.
Screw how anyone feels, especially RGT, Trails in the Sky remake alone made this direct for me, been waiting years for this. What even is Silksong lol.

Just 2 weeks ago, my adult son and daughter were home and were talking about all the garbage video games that are coming out. My son asked if their 3DSs still worked. We plugged both in and Yep, they worked. My son took Metroid SR and Luigi’s Mansions and my daughter took Nintendogs and Mario Kart 7. They still had a ton of downloads on them, too. As far as I know, they’ve been on them every night at their homes. Too bad Nintendo killed the messenger service on 3DS. My kids sent screenshots of where I’d tell them to go to bed from my 3DS XL, which I still play. Been playing older DS games.
Doesn’t Nintendo remember Tetris 2 for the NES? The game which is like when Tetris and Dr. Mario combines together to create a Tetris game where the blocks disappear and you are supposed to remove the “fixed” blocks from the board? That game was underrated and deserves a revival.
There are probably a lot of people who have a Switch as their exclusive platform. As someone with a PC and PS5, it's probably a bit hard to understand how those Switch sole source players feel about the Indie showcase. I don't do much mobile gaming, so my PC is the go-to for indie games.
Both capcom collection (rival school, powerstone yess), pizza tower, suikoden 1&2, Trails of sky remake, first time yakuza on switch and probably missed something. Awesome direct.

There wasnt a single big BIG title reveal that would stir up people this direct just a bunch of left over stuff they forgot they still had and wanted to use it to fill the gap between the new switch 2 later
Absolute banger of a direct for fans of Japanese rpgs. Trails in the Sky remake, new rune factory, a remaster of tales of graces f with massive improvements(those markers are needed for that disgusting final dungeon) and another single player atelier! Fans of the series really got worried that they might stick to the gacha formula.
I love indie world. The games showed today didn't do much for me, but there's something out there for everyone. I'm looking for an indie boom of small teams and low game prices. Not everything needs to be AAA quality only to have thousands upon thousands of laid off game devs because studios didn't hit some number on the parent company's spreadsheet.
@murderman8578 kiwami is pretty much the same game as yakuza 0. Same engine, mechanics. Just with the yakuza 1 story n extra scenes. Them just releasing kiwami n not including 0 is just pretty much dead on arrival.
