I really wish more games would embrace the style that this power Rangers game is. I swear there's so many games now that have terrible art design, game design, etc. It would just be great to see a bunch more games along the lines of this one but in different game categories
It was better than the State of Play. Nothing new except Lego Horizon Adventures for me, but Star Wars Outlaws, Black Myth Wu-Kong, Path of the Goddess, Phantom Blade 0 all still look good.

I do expect to hear about Starfield's Shattered Space DLC sometime this weekend. Probably during the Xbox event. I'm looking forward to seeing how they expand upon the game knowing it's reception.
One thing about the Lego Horizon game is that the animation is taking more from the movies in having everyone move like actual Lego Minifigs, rather than being more malleable like other Lego games and cartoons.

This year’s Summer Games Fest just proved why E3 died. It’s just not necessary to have a 2-3 hour show considering how secretive the gaming industry is, companies want to save the big reveals for their own presentations, and on order to fill the time you need a lot of fluff content
E3 is necessary it holds developers and publishers accountable because they actually have to present something so the masses don't fall out of love with them. since they've been doing their own thing the games being published suck. and everything by Geoff keighley sucks it always has.

I actually agree with you on the interesting games. Alot of Summer Game Fest 2024 sucked. I am tired of the Dark Soul type games. It was great with Dark Soul and Elder Ring but it tiring with all the copy cat games. This show made me look foward to Nintendo remaster of their old games.

LEGO Horizon on Switch makes absolute sense; the LEGO target audience is kids, and they're a lot of the folk on the Switch. More than the PS5, at least. Hats off though to watching the full thing. I couldn't. :D
I LOVE all of these licensed beat em up games we're getting now. TMNT Shredder's Revenge was great. Now we have Toxic Crusaders and Power Rangers coming soon. I'm hoping next we'll finally get that Street Sharks beat em up we all deserve and never got.

Excited for the Power Rangers game. The Blumhouse Games look pretty cool. Interested in Neva, the artsy 2D platformer by the people who made Gris. Disappointed there was no Dragon Age 4. I like the idea of the story "Journey to the West", so I do have one eye on the Black Myth: Wukong game.
