Can't teach Chris anything about programming and finding new sounds and melodies he will always be the master of electronic music and is very modest in this interview.

Stuart Price is the MAN! His works with any different artists are amazing, he knows exactly how to do it right. And PSB with new Electric are great as always, love them as much as I can love.
An excellent album, many of the essential elements of what defines the Pet Shop Boys music has been represented effectively and in fresh and exciting (banging!) ways enough to avoid redundancy. Stuart Price really nailed it! Gets better with each listen. Thanks PSB xo

Electric = great timeless electro-pop music.I think fans and non fans got impressed of this actual concept without lossing PSB sound. And the Electric Tour a #classic !! :)
Stuart Price is a sound wizard, a magician. He does wonders with every artist he works with. I loved "Electric" and "Super" with the PSB (even though I enjoyed "Hotspot" a little less) but he did great also with Madonna on "Confessions On A Dance Floor" and off course with Kylie Minogue too on the album "Aphrodite".
I remember this album coming out, I was camping in a tent in wales on my own, let’s just say that the other campers got the joy of listening to ‘vocal’!
The new album is CLASSIC PSB, very dancey...! I absolutely love it! Really hope they'll also come to Amsterdam for this tour. A strange idea though, PSB no longer on Parlephone!

Glad they dropped this LP after Elysium...which aside for a few standouts was a little lacklustre IMO... and I LOVE Release so it's not that I'm not into the less 'banging' side of PSB... but Electric and Super... well... BAM!!
Or 1995 b-sides collection 'Alternative'. ;) BUT notice the version they're doing live on the tour is the original, unreleased Bobby O version, not the one that was officially released with "Heart." Also (and this is very pop-nerdy, I realize) "I Get Excited" was originally supposed to appear on 'Instrospective' but they pulled the trigger early and released with "Heart."
I LOVE ! also you PSB fans if you don't have it...U MUST GET THEIR BOOK "CATALOGUE" that was released in 2006. It is one amazing retrospective of their career..AND MORE. I highly recommend it. Kirk..Montreal, Canada
I agree with Chris. Id like to see PSB on stage not doing nothing from the 80's as we've heard those songs play many times. The true is they always have been taking care to change the arrangement of the older songs to fit the current show. But anyway I thing is more interesting to play the songs they don't play very often and whey are more relevant to them where they are now. That would be brave to do that. There would be always space to put like 5 hits from the 80's and half 90's between them so that's fine, isn't it?

I Get Excited - my favorite song and I always hoped it would one day make an appearance in a tour, but what is that version? Ugh. Not sure I agree with the Introspective and Relentless comparisons. More like the last half of the second CD of Alternative.
Electric is good but to compare it to Yes, and some of their other Albums is a little over the top. Behavior, Yes, Bilingual, Please, very, & Nightlife their best work.
