I have a Dcan and an Enet Cable for an X3 F25. I have Ista P and Ista D. Does the Dcan cable offer more options? I understood I could use E-Net on Ista D
Any ideas why my system freezes at Complete Identification Process exactly at "Overall vehicle test ( ABL-GES-etc....) // 02:27 . Then I have to close the operation and start again. Apart from that, software works as much as its possible without testing ECUs. Im using k+d cable with ista+ mottorad version. Thanks
I have the EDIABAS connection setup correctly (INPA works fine) and I have EDIABAS selected in ISTA-D, yet it is still unable to communicate with the car. Any thoughts?
@@mahdebmw6704yes, I had the baud rate set incorrectly. It did not really impact INPA aside from some little errors, but it prevented ISTA from working at all.

yes, and only in D-can mode. K-can mode only works with pre 2007 cars. You have to switch your cable to D-can mode to read F series.

Don't warry about battery , its only important when you do programming or coding. for the diagnostics you don't have to warry about battery

no its not. Dcan - for E series, Enet - for F series.
