  • There are MANY great tools I try to use to keep incisions small and recovery fast! The best part about this tool- it doesn’t need to have a fusion with it! While fusions are great with certain pathologies, this helps remove arthritis and bone spurs in the neck and lower back!

      100% I would travel from south Florida to get your help. You are the best doctor I have ever had. On par with Mayo Clinic. Helped me in ways I can’t explain and explained everything to me without rushing through appointments and without coddling my feelings.
      Very trustworthy and very truthful.
      I appreciate you and your staff more than I could say
      Thank you!

    Your videos are a upfront and shocking at first. I'm so glad that continue to watch them because I'm learning so much. It's important to become a bit desensitized in order to learn due to the massive fear (and rightfully so of spine surgery). Spine surgery has come so far...very fast. It's important to understand that if you need a better quality of life.

      Hey there, I do about 15 new patient telemedicines💻🌎 every week. Here is the best path forward:
      1- email your insurance card to Spine@TSCspine.com (We don’t take HMOs or Medicaid, but can private pay, unless Medicaid)
      2- if we take that insurance THEN upload your images to my portal for our 1st visit.
      3- I must have X-rays and MRI, X-rays are critical! “Just” MRI isn’t enough. Need to be from last 12 months. Nothing older is needed, or wanted.
      4- You need to get your CD 💿 of your X-ray and MRI (imaging centers will never send them to us)
      5- On the top of my website (www.DonnallySpine.com) is the link to UPLOAD images, from YOUR HOME! 🤯🥰 (or at a CVS with Physician LookUp Code k5037438)
      6- To recap: email us, get CDs, THEN upload!
      Step by step:

    Hey Doc, I have Spondylosis and was wondering why replacement disc is not an option?
    I was thinking that with rehab and disc replacement, the ultrasonic technology you are showing could help if the arthritis and bone spurs was shaved down. But fusion is what I'm told is the only option. Being in my mid 40's, that is not the road i want, so just want to know the mechanics behind the why disc replacement is not an option for Spondylosis.
    Thanks for your feed back in advance.

    • @DonnallySpineConsult
      @DonnallySpineConsult  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DonnallySpineConsult Is that because of the smooth cartilage is damaged wear pain would still be felt due to the arthritis? Or instability due to the excessive wear? Just trying to understand the mechanics behind it.
      It's just hard to give in when you know your triggers for the pain I deal with and understanding that my L4 & L5 is what needs fusing. Yet when I start to have adjacent level issues, then a second surgery that probably will eventually cause myself to be permanently disabled and really limit my motion. I know it will progressively get worst, but knowing that adjacent levels will come and wanting knowledge will help me accept if this is my life for the future.
      Hope this helps in why I'm asking for more details on the mechanics of why not. As a patient or prospective patient, knowledge is key on how I or anyone should proceed to the care which they have the upmost confidence in.
      Thanks again.

    The thing I've never understood about stenosis surgery is that the spine is left open ...!?!? I mean the bone is there to protect the spinal cord to begin with so if it's left exposed isn't that dangerous ? What if you bump into something in that area ???
    Your spinal cord is partially exposed ?

    • @DonnallySpineConsult
      @DonnallySpineConsult  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A tiny cut but so much muscle covers it

    • @joeserrenti9857
      @joeserrenti9857 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So in the scenario of your answer , the ligamentum flavum would still be intact, or would parts of it be removed as well ....???
      Plus would the surgery be performed on more than one joint , in other words L4, L5, & S1, etc.
      Even with a small scar, that would be a good covering of bone gone ???
