- I wanted to show what a typical week in med school looks like. For context, I’m a third year medical school student and I’m currently doing my surgery rotation. For med school students, their weekly schedule largely depends on their current year (the first two years of medical school is mostly spent in the classroom/lab) and current rotation, ie my schedule for family medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, etc were all different from each other.

The fact that you can balance studying, homework, eating, going to bed at such a good hour, and having a social life, plus going to the hospital every single day almost... truly amazes me I am in high school I go to sleep at 12, and nd even by then i still don't have my homework done i barely have a social life forget to eat sometimes 😂it's amazing what you can do that I wish I could

yesss!!! I love grey's and i'm also thinking about being in the medical field. I'm aware the show is nothing like the real thing, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, but it's still my fav show lol .

This is actually kind of interesting. I'm a nurse in the ED at a level 1 trauma that's a teaching hospital as well. I see every kind of student in the ED all the time. Most of the med students are super helpful and even offer to help us. It's really nice to have an extra pair of hands!

I work at a hospital and I see first hand how hard doctors and nurses and psw's work. they have no life. (from what I see). being that smart and capable of processing and passing this type of shool is truely a blessing.

I've been subscribing to your channel ever since I was still in college in 2015. Now I'm in my second year in medical school and your videos still give me more than enough motivation to finish all my surgery, pathology and pediatrics chapters! I'm. Crystal Hilton I'm an MS-3 and now I laugh every time I watch Grey's anatomy lol. Things like doctors wheeling around patients, 6 surgeons working on one surgery at a time, surgeons running CT scans and MRIs (instead of a tech), and there are plenty times where a super easy diagnosis that even a medical student could make is made into a huge deal. I watched like 7 seasons of grey's before I started med school and then restarted the show again after being in med school for a bit. It's crazy how differently you see things even after a couple years of med school.

Yeah, I want to see a Med student doing it tough. It is hard to watch these vlog's as it seems like money is not an issue here. Her apartment is nicer than mine and I have finished University and work full time.
Margot what do you mean you want to see a med student doing it? I'm also a US med student and I live 100% on loans. I don't stress myself with trying to be frugal and basically treat it like Monopoly money. Finances are one thing a lot of us don't want to worry about while we're in med school so I know many of us use it all up lol
