We have a Polaris sportsman 110 that won't shift from neutral to drive we took apart the transmission and we followed your video and everything looked fine. What else should we look at to find the problem. What do you suggest. Thanks for the help.
You did a great job explaining how to take apart and reassemble... but what was the actual cause of the problem? I have an outlaw 90 that is very hard to shift between gears. Do I need to replace the shift fork or just take it apart and Clean and lube it?
Can you explain or show the ball bearing and detent spring and where they go. My reverse shaft gear sheared apart and I cleaned all the old teeth out but then saw the single ball bearing sitting in the bottom of the case but didn't see where it was came from
I have an 07 that I had to replace the transmission cover on. After puttinf everything back together I can't get it to shift correctly and the neutral and reverse lights no longer work
Mine got a problem w/ shift stick .i have to have it hold forward to engage good .the same for backwards even tho give it gas ⛽ acc.w/ stick held so works good .any idea how to fix or what to replace?
Buddy i have the same bike .inspected it from the inside it looks pretty new and clean but once i crank it on makes some noise even when running can u tell what it is ? i replaced prim. Clutch and one way starter clutch .new belt also noise comes from pim. Clutch section .i suspect it is the starter clutch but it is brand new
@@combatcatfish5408 usally it gets rusted, take it apart and clean it(sand blast). The noise should disappear. You can test this by loosening bolts on cover and starting it, if noise is gone it's caused by the kickstarter.
Nice!! This worked perfect for me. Thanks for posting..

Usually it's just because it gets misaligned. clean and reassemble. Also check for any broken teeth

Check the kick starter. They get rusty and sometimes grab. Or it could be a bearing.
@@devinkaatz8676 my kick start also does not work, seems like bearings are seized on the Kickstart shaft.
